MatNai's Photo

Maily Pham alias MatNai, grew up in Vietnam, and eventually emigrated and moved to San Jose, California.

She was an active member of the community, being involved and reaching out to the less fortunate people of the world in the past. Currently, she is an active member in several different groups and contributed her talent and skill as much as she can to the community. Her generous mother influenced this quality. She detests dishonest people, and those who are overly ambitious and manipulate others. Maily is a straightforward and outgoing type, seeking and taking advantage of opportunities that arise. Her beautiful smile brightens anyone's day, which sometimes can be thought of as a "sunshine".

Maily also enjoys exploring new places, travelling and camping. Having already visited Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, Europe (France, England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherland ...etc.), the Caribbean and Hawaii; her future plans include South East Asia, Egypt and Australia. Music, art, and literature appeal to her through singing, reading, writing poetry and designing web pages. Maily has a great sense of taste (as well as a keen nose) for gourmet dining, and is greatly adept at cooking.

Peach and violet are her favorite colors, one soft, and the other bold. But neither she prefers to be her evening gown, which will have to be an elegant onyx black. What else color can she use if she wants to waltz in a ballroom? J

Her passion for music is tremendous, loving from the Vietnamese romance genre to cha-cha-cha and tango genres. American songs that easy listening to techno are also her favorite. As you can see, her tastes evolve to cover a variety of music. She respects and admires many Vietnamese lyricists, composers and poets. Poets that inspire her include Nguyen Binh, Xuan Dieu, Nguyen Sa, Han Mac Tu and Dinh Hung. Lyricists and composers that are Ngo Thuy Mien, Trinh Cong Son, Tu Cong Phung, Pham Duy and Duc Huy.

Her dream is to travel the entire globe, from the highest mountain of Tibet, to the Deserts of the Sahara, the exotic jungles of the Amazon, and rest and relax where else but Tahiti.J Her hope for her motherland that one day she will be able to assist in the development of Vietnam to emerge as a powerful global influence, just as Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand did.
