Links to excellent and far more detailed sites
By special request of Garfield I, here is a link to the works of
J.R.R. Tolkien
(Tolkien, of course, was also a great Middle English scholar and a friend of C.S. Lewis's)

If anyone out there knows of further links to sites that tell more of the wee folk, please let me
know. I should be happy to include them on this page. The wonderful image of the fae all were acquired on other spots on the Web, and, as far as I know, are in the public domain. Should you know of any image on this page being subject to copyright, please let me know and I shall remove the image.
Just in case you were wondering...my internet handle, Gloriana, is adopted from Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Queene, in which he used that as his sobriquet for Queen Elizabeth I. Would you like to see a picture of Gloriana's magical side?
And, if indeed there is a faerie realm, may these enchanting creatures always bring us joy!
