I found your sight to be informative and fun. I have a fascination with French uniforms of WWI and WWII, particularly ones of the horizon blue variety. If you have any information as to where I might find these I would be forever grateful.

Hi, nice pages you have. I like the polish lancers, but i have not met them yet in the field. My own page is not satisfying, but you can find nice reenactment pictures, also pictures from my unit, the 14th. Cuirassiers (and 2nd Dutch Carabiners) from our Napoleonic Cavalry Club, the N.C.V. Site is yet only available in Dutch. (Fields of Glory section) Greetings tou you, and carry on with the good work.

Dear John We remain grateful for your visiting our e-mail. Needless to say that we respect highly your work as well as this of the various re- enactors. We can understand the commitment, the cost and the time it takes. Our effort to join a similar group is currentl obstacled by the total lack of such groups near us, and as you can see from the date of the message time keeps on pressing us too. Anyway our estime for your work remains high and, by all means, we will frequently visit your site. Concerning the miniature wargames we own a great stock of Napoleonic 15mm figures from different manufacturers ( Chariot, Essex,Table top, Minifigs, Battle Honours e.t.c.). We use several rules such as SHAKO or General de Brigade and an unknown to Euro e set of rules called Vive l' Empereur, created by the most experienced and skilled Greek wargamer George Pistoff, which has a lot of similarities with the W.R.G. Napoleonic rules. Our club is also practising D.B.A., D.B.M., & WWII battles. The ultimate interest of the lub is the preparation of D.B.R. armies within the W.R.G. Army Lists I-III. For the documentation we mainly use the Osprey book series, but not only : we read most of the magazines concerning wargames. Unfotunatelly, wargaming is at this point almost unknown to Greece and at its diffusal we aim. If you need more information on our club we remain at your disposal. Thank you for stopping by!! Respectfully yours The members of the club

I am researching the actions taken by German members of Napoleon's "Russian Campaign Armee" after their defeat in Russia. Did some of the surviving German members of the Armee settle in Poland? Do rosters exist of the names of all soldiers who were in the French army during the Russian campaign? Any information would be of great assistance. Thank You. M. Stroth
