      Monthly meeting minutes

      September 8th, 1998


      Attendees: Kris Thorpe, Dana Woodbury, Gail Martyn, Lori Lewno, Ron Lewno, Jerry Meadows, Venetia Fields, Dawn Moss, Michelle Pearson, Stefen Pearson, Patty Rismoen, Michele Napper, Melissa Lake, Colleen Palmer, Colleen Menze, Melissa Lungberg, Tammy Beeler, Leah Williams, Tracie Parron, Patricia Pruett, Carol Evans.


      Meeting called to order: Presedent Kris Thorpe called to order at 7:00 PM


      Treasury Report: Total Bank Balances $3,587.93. Track debt owed to PTC is $1920.30.

      For full itemized report contact PTC Treasurer Gail Martyn.


      Lice Prevention Status: For the month of September there were 22 cases reported.

      For this year PTC is looking to have at least one parent inspector per class. At present there are nine parent volunteers which leaves thirteen classes left. To volunteer write name and phone number on a piece of paper and deposit in the PTC box located in the Condon Office.


      Jog-a-Thon: Set for Sept. 24th & 25th. Students will collect pledges and conduct walk during regularly scheduled PE classes.

      Funds will go toward the $1920.30 debt and remaining funds will go toward the support of the athletic department.

      After School Activities: The Eisenschmidt Pool is starting a structured after school activity program. This program is designed to give student a safe place to participate in a variety of activities between the hours of 3:00 and 6:15 week days at a cost of $1.50 per day per child. Program scheduled to start in October. More information to follow. Already started at the pool is

      an after school public swim. The cost is $1.50 , hours are 3:00 -5:30.


      KISN Family Night: Country Kicker Family night is scheduled for Oct. 8th. More information to follow.

      Fund-raisers: The fund-raisers for this year are going toward the purchase of a Reader Board , Christmas Crafts, P.E. equipment and Computer Technology.

      Please bring in your General Mills Box Tops starting in Oct., containers will be located in each room. For more information coserning General Mills, contact Dana Woodbury at 397-5727. Also continue saving your Campbel Soup Labels, container will be located in front of the office. For more information on the Campbel soup labels, contact Michelle Pearson at the school.


      Red Apple Receipts are continuing to be an active fund-raiser this year. Save, Save, Save!!! Last years receipts totaled over $1,200.00. This years coordinator will be Melissa Lungberg.

      Otis Spunkmeyer cookies will be sold every Friday at the cost of .35 cents each or 3 for $1.00.


      Other: Mr. Meadows has appreciated all active parent volunteers for making Condon School a true community experience.
