Treasury Report:
- Total funds available: $4,226.64 (See Leanne Haresnape)
Old Business:
- Lewis & Clark Art (Mural): Mr. William (Bill) Crist, a Professor Emeritus in Art, expressed interest in helping with a project for the hallway across from the Clark Office. He envisions around a dozen fifth graders working with acrylic paints on panels. "Lewis & Clark" would probably be the theme. Mr. Crist would like to include research and field trips in preparation for the artwork. A committee will be formed to gather more information, which will consist of Mr. Meadows, Mr. Crist, Site Council Members and PTLC Members.
- Fall Family Festival, Carnival: Our new Carnival Coordinator is Rebecca Penny. Volunteers are still needed for dinner and Carnival. Aimee Zoske, Book Fair Coordinator, requested $5.00 to buy head lice spray for the costume to be worn at the Book Fair. Voted and Approved.
- L&C Shirts: At the end of 2001-2002 school year the PTLC allocated $250.00 for t-shirts to be given away during Open House. Since this was overlooked by the PTLC at the time, a t-shirt give away will be organized for Parent Teacher Conferences on October 16 & 17. The first T-shirt Order Form will be out on November 19th. Shirts will be ordered on November 26th and should be in by mid December.

New Business:
- Retaining Wall/ Tiles: A retaining wall is needed outside the main entrance to the Lewis wing. Mr. Meadows and Mr. Rich Mawson have come up with an idea to add student's art work to the brick wall. Each student would paint a square tile, which would then be fired in a kiln and adhered to the brick wall.
- Art Fund: The PTLC Executive Board proposed that some funds be used to beautify our campus with student made artwork. A Motion was made to allocate Masterpiece Fundraiser profits to fund art projects, which may include the above mentioned projects. Voted and Approved.
NEXT PTLC MEETING: Nov 12th at 7 pm!!
