Treasury Report:
- Total funds available: $7,475.49 (Condon) see Gail Martyn
- Total funds available: $6,125.10 (John Gumm) see Amie Zoske

Monthly Reports:
- Cambbell's Soup Lables:
- Ordered two balls, a world and a US map with points.
- Red Apple donated 2000 points to be used next year.
- Total points banked = 20,760 to be used 2000/2001 school year.
- Otis Spunkmeier Cookie Sales:
- Total money made so far this year, $1803.00

Old Business:
- Reader Board:
- Ordered reader board with 50% down. Future talks expected with contractor.
- Family Fun Night:
- Local DJ was a hit with about 100 kids and parents. Thanks for attending.
- Kids Night Out:
- $100 needed for more prizes,voted and approved.
- $150 needed for food,voted and approved.
- Burgerville and Sunshine Pizza will advertise event.
- Hours will be 5:30 - 9:30 May 20th. John Gumm volunteers were very happy with new hours, as were the parents.
- Playground:
- Structure for primary playground, the track and par course should be ready for use when the new school year starts.
- Motion that PTC covers any money not raised through fundraising up to the amount of $2,735.31. voted and approved.
- Commemorative Closings:
- Condon -> Friday May 12th, 2:30-4:00. Visit the classrooms and school. Refreshments available.
- John Gumm -> Wed. June 7th, outside gathering with BBQ for staff and students.

New Business:
- Oregon Writing Festival:
- John Gumm sponsored 10 kids to attend. They met author, James Rolins. The children get to see the poems and stories of their peers. Would like to see a writers festival specifically for Columbia County.
- Kindergarten Field Day:
- Due to construction, there will be no field day. We will have a party instead. Need $35 for popsicles for the kindergarten classes. Voted and approved.
- Our New Name:
- A motion was read to change Condon PTC to Parents and Teachers of Lewis and Clark (PTLC) start of new fiscal year. Vote will take place in June meeting
- A motion was made to change John Gumm PTO to PTLC. Approved as of 7/1/2000.

John Gumm Business:
- Math Master Swim Party-a swim party for kids who reach memorization levels dependent on their grade level. Began in January.
- Oaks Park-a traditional party Friday June 9th.
- 12 week party-a behavioral incentive for students. Friday June 2nd. Skateworld.

To Kris Thorpe and Patricia Pruett, A HUGE THANK YOU for all your hard work and effort put into PTC during the 1999-2000 school year. We will miss you on the board, but look forward to seeing you both at the monthly PTLC meetings next year. Best of luck.
Next meeting will be June13th, 2000. Please come and join us. This will be our last meeting of the 1999/2000 school year.
