Parents/Teachers of Lewis & Clark Minutes - April 2002

Attendance:
Anne Collson, Gail Martyn, Michelle & Stefan Pearson, Aimee Zoske, Casandra Hylton, Tracy and Bob Eisenman, Jerry Meadows, Gin Birkle, Leanne Haresnape, Katrina Clift, Shanna Simonson, Shannon Row, Colleen Menze, Melissa Lungberg, & Michele Rae.
Treasury Report:
- Total funds available: $7,896.53 (See Gail Martyn)
Old Business:
- Maredy Fund raiser: the fundraiser was extremely successful. Final profit total was $7,387.30.
- Nominations: open through May 7th.
- Safe Kids Day: 3 volunteers are needed to help run the popcorn machine Saturday, May 11th in 1 � hour shifts between 11-3 p.m. Contact Aimee Zoske.
- Par-Course: The wood borders and chips have been installed. It took about 10 volunteers and 2 � hours of labor on Sat. 3/2. Thank you to all that donated time and energy.
- Playground Equipment Options: the "Recreation Creation" set has been ordered. We have also ordered an 8-seat swing set for the Lewis end of the playground. Delivery is expected at the end of May for summer installation. Volunteers welcome.

New Business:
- Audit Committee: At least two people are needed to help with the year-end audit. Colleen Menze and Katrina Clift are on board to help.
- Book Fair: Volunteers needed for April 22-29th. See Aimee Zoske.
- Otis Spunkmeyer: Three new crew members are needed for 2002/2003 school year. See Gail Martyn or Michelle Pearson.
- Red Apple Receipts: Receipts totaling $37,000 have been sent in and $7,000 more are to be sent.
- Quicken 2000: A request for $30 has been made to purchase Quicken 2000 for use by the incoming treasurer, if necessary, for next school year. Voted and approved.
- Die Cut letter replacement: Due to the incorrect use of letter die-cuts, replacement of a tray, a roller and 4 letters, totaling $147.50, is requested. The following four new die-cuts were also requested from the wish list, dragon bookmark, wave border, solid pumpkin, and the sleigh. Motion to spend a total of $376.00 (utilizing a 20% discount and free s/h), voted and
approved.
* Thank you's go to PTLC for the picture cards, the music mallets and the pole for the playground.
* Also received was a stamp to label books/items "Gift from PTLC".
ALL YEAR END CROSS-TALK'S MUST BE IN BY MAY 10TH
There is NO JUNE MEETING. LAST PTLC MEETING: May 14th at 7 pm!!
