PTC MINUTES - Nov 1998

        Treasury Report: Total available funds $12,356.93. For a detailed copy of the treasury report contact a PTC board member.


        Lice Status: For the month of November their were 9 cases of head lice. I would like to THANK all the parents that came forward to volunteer their time with head checks this month. If you would like to volunteer, you can contact me at the school between 8AM - 3:00PM. Ask for Lori.


        Requests:


        1. Mrs. Salopek and Mrs. Neukom requested reimbursement for classroom puppets totaling $141.50. Voted and approved.

        2. Kris Thorpe requested $100.00 in order for Michelle Pearson to buy decorations

          for the PTC bulletin board this year. Voted and approved. Board located across from office.

        3. Tracie Parron, (Duty-Aid at Condon), asked for $200.00 to purchase new equipment for the playground. Voted and approved.

        4. Dana Woodbury asked PTC for $600.00 to purchase lower case letters and new shapes for the Acu- Cut stencil machine. Voted and approved.

        5. Baby-sitting during PTC meetings was discussed. It was decided that their will be two baby-sitters, 1 at least 13 years old, and they will be paid $15 each per meeting.


        Fund-raiser:


        1. "MOM" orders are being shipped. If there is a problem with your order, please call the 1-800 number on the reverse side of your order form.

        2. The library received a voucher from "Scholastics" in the amount of $1447 to purchase books.


        Crafts:Christmas Crafts will be held on December 7th - 11th. Each grade will be making different gifts this year. If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact Patricia Pruett at 366-2618.


        NEW BUSINESS: Due to the concern of PTC members. PTC has now adopted a formal letterhead to be used for all PTC transactions. Letterhead was designed and drafted by Gail Martyn.

        If you are interested in purchasing a set of Love-n-Logic Parenting audio tapes, please contact Kris Thorpe at 397-1997.
