














Ornithomimus tenuis 'bird mimic reptile''ostrich dinosaurs'
Length= 10-13 ft, 7 feet tall. Late Cretaceous 76-65 MYA. Close relatives are Struthomimus and Dromeiceiomimus.
Found in Montana by J.B Hatcher in 1880's. They resemble present day Ostrich and Emus...without feathers. 3 toes on foot and are built lightly. O.tenus and O.grandis are two known species. They ran approximately 25mph. Ate eggs, insects, and softbodied animals. They have a small head, toothless mouth, and long neck, long fingered fore limbs.
