.:When Life Gives You Lemons, Clean Your Windows:.

With all the products out their promising streak-free windows and blond highlights, many people overlook other alternatives to do those jobs. Often, those alternatives are cheaper and produce the same results. While surfing the web, I came across ReaLemon.com; the site provided the many uses of fresh lemon juice*.

.:For Clean Windows:.
Mix 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice with 2 cups water; put the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray window, then wipe clean.

.:Brighten whites:. (Laundry)
Add 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice to wash cycle to make your whites brighter and smelling fresher.

.:For spotless Whites:. (Laundry)
Pour fresh lemon juice directly on the spots; rub the spots gently with salt. Let clothes set in the sun.

.:For Blond Highlights:. (Hair)
Create blonde highlights by spritzing hair with a mixture of 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice and 3/4 cup water. Relax in sun until desired result. (Note: Might give reddish highlights on darker hair)

.:Whiten and brighten fingernails:.
This tip may come in useful for those who use nail polish, as nail polish may turn your nails yellow. Soak fingernails in a mixture of 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice and 1 cup water for 5 minutes on a regular basis.

.:Remove odors from hands:.
After handling garlic, onion, fish and raw meats by rinsing hands with fresh lemon juice.
