Frequently Asked Questions:

- At what age can my son join?: Cub
scouting is open to any boy who is 7 - 11 years of age, and/or in 1st grade
or above.
- Where do you meet?: Our Pack functions are
held at a variety of locations in the greater Winston-Salem area. Most den
meetings are held in the activity center of St. Leo Church, although you
do NOT need to be a student or member there.
- Does my son need to be Catholic in order to join
your Pack?: Our Pack, like all of Scouting, is nondenominational and respects
the beliefs of all of its families.
- How are Dens assiged?: Dens are made up of
6-8 boys, and their parents, from a single school grade. Dens are assigned
by the Pack committee.
- Participation: Both the participation of the boys
and their parents is needed for the cub scouting program to be a success.
The Pack is run by parent volunteers who all assist at both the Pack and
Den levels. Most dens these days are "co-ops" with rotating Den leadership.

although this can vary depending on the activity. Pack: The Pack
meets once a month all year. Time and location will vary depending on the
planned activity, please see our Pack Calendar for details.
