The Police and Fire Chaplain's Training Academy is a program of the Tacom-Pierce County Chaplaincy and is presented through a partnership betwen Tacoma-Pierce County Chaplaincy and the Washington  State Criminal Justice Training Commission.

The Academy Curriculum includes . . .

       44  hours of classroom/academic training.
       12  hours of direct contact experience.
         3  hours of discussion seminar training.
      
International Conference of Police Chaplains and
 
Federation of Fire Chaplains (under certain
   provisions) accept PFCTA courses in satisfaction of
   the educational requirement for Basic Level Training.
