Unfortunately, you are currently reading what will be known as the last staff mesage on this website.
Okolona Church of the Nazarene, as an english speaking congregation, is no more. Effective Feb. 29, 2004, Robert Combs resigned as pastor, carrying with him by Nazarene rules, the resignations of Jeff Woods as Associate Pastor & Cyndi Woods as Children's Minister. However, Harvest Cafe remains alive and will operate at the Okolona Church campus until Apr. 3, 2004, when the ministry will move its base of operations to South Louisville Christian Church, located at 3845 Southern Parkway. With almost 100,000 people within a 2 mile radius and over 80% of them unchurched, it is an incredible opportunity. But don't worry, if my information stands correct, the Okolona/Fairdale area won't be without a Christian coffeehouse for long, there are 3 churches wanting to open one.
