Braxon and Connie in Thai restaurantBraxton with college students

We have three daughters who all live with their husbands in Monroe with our 6 grandchildren. We get to visit with them each year during our vacation. Our youngest granddaughter is 4 months old and although we were not there for her birth we were able to listen to everything over the phone (her first cry) and talk to our daughter right after the delivery. I love all my grandchildren and look forward to seeing and spending time with them, as I know you who have them also do.

My wife, Connie, and I have been living in South Korea since Jan. 4, 1982. Can you imagine the temperature change from New Orleans to Seoul, South Korea in January. I know what freezing is like. We have been serving as missionaries with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for almost 22 years. Although we have served in many ministries, at the present time we are serving in ministry to non-christian students and professors. Our time with the students (who keep us young) is a joy to us and it is a blessing to see them (as well as professors) come to know the love and life that God offers them in Christ. For those of you who are interested in more information about our ministry please let me know.

I would enjoy hearing from you and if I was going to be in the U.S. I would look forward to seeing you at the reunion. I promise to respond to any of you who e-mail. Let me hear from you!
