NKC news items from 2004

Some photos of last year's St Stephens Day trip from Kilcullen & Athgarvan to Newbridge. 13 paddlers ventured forth! Some photos of club saturday morning activity on the river.

Michael competed in the Liffey Descent in the Antique K1 or 'Masters' category.

Seven NKC junior paddlers competed in the Junior Liffey Descent on the 22nd May. Craig Stevenson came third in the over-15s Boys Open Singles class.

On May 1st the NKC Junior Series race was held from Athgarvan to Newbridge College with 39 paddlers racing.

More than 180 plastic ducks battled it out over a tough 200yd course on Sunday 20th June in the first ever NKC duck race. No doubt trainers are already laying plans for next year's race :-).

The club paddled around the Hill of Allen where 15 paddlers endured an uneventful trip.

NKC ran the annual ranking race at Robertstown on 3rd October. More than 120 paddlers turned out with the good weather to race - See Race RESULTS.
