Pixies are the most mischievous of all fey. They just want to have fun, but what is fun to some may be annoying to others. They are natrual pranksters and extremely loyal to the queen of their colony.
Pixie philosophy

3: in case you find yourself not having fun, see the first two rules
4: when you get caught doing something bad divert blame, no matter how red handed you were caught.
5 a friend of a friend is my friend, as an enemy of my friend is my enemy.
6: word play, don't state the truth flate out when asked and take everything literly.
The average hieght of a pixie is one and a half inches tall. They are winged and tend to put off some sort of glowing aura. The wings of a pixie vary depending on the type, but most often they are incect or butterfly looking and slightly transparent. Pixies have pointed ears and most resemble tiny elves.
Pixies don't always realize when they have annoyed others and will call people friend that don't return the compliment. There is no race in any realm that pixies won't try to befriend.
Because of the intense consentration of nerki (atom of magic) in their systems pixies tend to be hatched with their alignment. Very often a whole colony will share the same alignment. Pixies are always lawful, despite the chaotic appearance of their actions. Pixies follow their queen, much the same way ants or bees follow their queen. Pixies can be lawful good, lawful neutral, or lawful evil.
Pixies make their home anywhere and everywhere. They most often form their colonies in nature, but it's not unheard of for a new colony to start up in the atic of an old building in a city. Colonies are not started very often however and most colonies you'll find have been there longer than most cities you've been to. Only the daughter of a queen hatched with a queen's desire will venture off to start a new colony. It's a long hard process since she'll have to take pixies with her from the old colony or find renagade pixies that have no queen.
Sylvan
A pixie name reveals the pixie's element or something about their personality. Some examples of pixie names are Knightwind, Sundrop, or Woodwyrm.
Pixies love adventures. Pixies love to go on them and hear all about them. A pixie will see an adventure as fun. It does not hurt the pixie to be away from his or her colony and often times it does not hurt the colony either.
