Time: mid-day
Location: AmKelosh: a balcony off the third floor of the main palace.

Yurko is standing on a balcony off the third floor of the main palace, the same floor that has the throne room, library, magic lab, and various bed rooms for those that live in this palace. The wind blows by every now and then, lifting the end of Yurko's long silver hair. Yurko's expression is cold and distant, which is very common for him. He'd gone off on some secret mission and was gone a very long time, so long in face it was rumored he was dead. After his return he has been withdrawn and moody, taking almost any opritunity to lash out at anyone that gets too close. He is clearly marked with Kayos' symbol on his forehead, making no mistake that he is part of the Kelosh empire. Of all the Ramezkie boys, Yurko is said to be the one that looks the most like Kayos.

Synderix wandering is what she seems to do when she's not with Kayos.. Though most of her schedule is holding conversations within her mind and instructing orders.. She does though make physical appearances, though lately it has been quite dead.. Her mind was mainly onto the thoughts until something caught her eye.. A grin peeled over her lips for a brief moment then flickered as upon heels she turned quickly taking a few steps into the entrance way of the balcony.. Her weight shifted as she went to lean against the side of the entrance way, lips came to snake around her stomach area as she spoke.. "Well, look what the dog dragged in.."

Yurko turns to see who it is that addresses him and frowns slightly upon seeing Synderix. His heads tilts downward very slightly, like a cat on the prowl who sees an enemy. He remembers Kayos telling him to stay away from Synderix, but unlike Jules, Yurko doesn't really fear Kayos. Not as badly as Jules does anyway. "Haven't you been told to stay away from the Ramezkie family?" He speaks to her in about the same tone he would a slave girl that has bardged into a room she should not be in. He doesn't like Syn and isn't afraid to show his distaste for her. "I am a Ramezkie. Go away." He turns from her to once again look out from the balcony, but isn't really paying attention to the view. He's listening to see if she does as she's told.

Synderix smirks lightly as she shakes her head, still remaining in her stance. "I never was told to stay away, and if I was.. I don't receive orders.. It would be odd though if he did tell me, because that would mean to stay away from him as well.. " A sly grin formed onto her lips as she shifted lightly, getting comfortable.. "Am I suppose to shudder in fear and run away since you are a Ramezkie?" Shifts her gaze down upon her for a brief moment in a mocking way before she looks back up towards Yurko.. "It's not working.. "

Yurko has a sudden urge to turn on her and drain her life away, though that might be too quick of a way to go. He doesn't move however, mostly becuase of the magic in the tattoo on his forehead. That black crescent mark makes him be loyal to the empire and not do anything that would hurt the empire. Kayos and Synderix are allies and Yurko can see where Syn would be a useful ally. He doesn't like her anyway, but can do nothing about it."I care not, what you think of me. I doubt you can feel much of anything."

Synderix archs a brow as interest grows, though it drops suddenly as she pulls herself from her resting position. A few steps were taken forward, bringing her a few feet next to Yurko, her slender physique leaning forward as limbs come to drape over the balcony's ledge.. "Now, why would you go and say something like that? " Her gaze shifts across the view before her then onto Yurko.. She shouldn't of asked that.. She knew the reason he said it.. It was probably about Dacklyn.. A sigh slips past her lips as her features soften a bit, almost a sad tinge coming over them..

Yurko contines to look out over the view and speak to Synderix with obvious distain in his tone, though he makes no other move or gester to display how he feels. "Everyone knows what you did to Kayos and Dacklyn. They were the greatest of allies and you turned them into enemies." He looks at her through the side of his face, his eyes flashing in anger and rage. "I don't like such shows of games and betrayal. You can not be trusted, yet you linger in hopes of destroying more than you already have."

Synderix features turn more into a glare as she stares at Yurko, her tone a mixture of anger and hurt.."You know nothing of what happened, nor does anyone else. My intent was nothing to turn them into enemies.. " Muscles twining about the mandible began to shudder a bit as she quickly turns her head infront of her, her glare slowly fading as she inhales deeply even though it is not needed.. She needed to calm herself or the beast would surely be let out.. "I do not linger in hopes of destroying more than I already have.. I linger in hopes of fixing the mistake that has arised.. "

Yurko looks back out from the balcony, then after a moment of silence he turns suddenly toward the doors that lead back into the palace. He doesn't bleive her. He has no reason to blieve her, nor does he have any real reason to argue the matter with her. She'll never confess what he believes to be true, and he'll never believe what she claims to be true. There is no point as far a he can see to continue the conversation. He says nothing more to her at all, he feels no need to show her any type of courtasy.

Synderix tilts her head further down, not saying another word and allowing Yurko to leave.. Her eyes close tightly as tears slowly fell down across her cheeks.. Strands of obsidian hair come to cascade over the porcelin face as she speaks.. Her tone less than that of a whisper to not even fall onto Yurko's ears probably.. "Dacklyn.. I'm sorry.. " She knew he probably would never hear it.. Though genuinely she was.. If found way into her soul, to see her inner thoughts.. To feel her pain.. They would fully understand what was going on with her.. She was torn in two.. Allowing the beast to take advantage more of her.. She didnt know what to do..

Nick Corwin steps past Yurko on his way out onto the balcony. He pauses seeing Synderix and looks back toward Yurko walking away then back to Synderix once again. He could tell Yurko seemed mad about something, but Syn strikes Nick as looking sad. Nick doesn't have the best social skills and wouldn't be able to comfort anyone, but that's not why he came out here anyway. He lives on this floor of the palace and just wanted some free air away from his Amazon guards. He walks on over to where Synderix is and stops on her left side. "Mind some company?" His tone doesn't show fear or hatred. He instead speaks to Synderix the same way he'd speak to anyone else he might bump into. Except Kayos or Lark, he doesn't speak that nicely to either of them. Nick looks down below to a small child playing with a dog

Synderix consumed by her emotions she didn't even notice Nick coming towards her at first, until he spoke. A small gasp of startlness slipped into her as quickly did a limb rise to allow the digits to brush away the tears trying to pull herself together.. Her head shook lightly as she spoke, "No.. I don't mind.. " Her voice seemed kinda weak, shuddering in a sense.. As did she look the same.. Her mind couldn't be let off the fact that Dacklyn was around here somewhere.. She had a feeling he was Yurko due to the way Yurko treats her..

Nick Corwin is the type of guy that doesn't really like to see women cry, but on some wierd level he doesn't mind seeing a High Power cry. It only reminds him that they too have all the same emotions and problems the rest of them have. They're not speical, just a lot more powerful. He wonders breifly what to do, didn't he once read a book on something like this? He shifts through some of his memories, but can't find one that tells him. He thinks he's suposed to touch her or something, but instead decides to just tell he the truth. "I really suck at this social crap. If you're looking for comfort, I'm the last person here able to give that to you." He glances back toward the doors, remembering the look on Yurko's face. "Well, excpet for Prince Yurko maybe." He offers a smile upon saying this.

Synderix lips curl into a very light smile.. Though her gaze seems distant, as if searching for something.. Another sigh escapes her lips as she shakes her head lightly.. "Comfort is something that I have never been able to receive so seeking for it I do not.. " She smirks lightly at his comment, almost it forms into a chuckle.. "Prince Yurko is an arrogant fool that needs to learn to keep his nose out of other's business espically when he knows nothing of the matter.. I wish he would receive the same pain that he inflicts onto others.. "

Nick Corwin lets out a little laugh himself. "But he's a prince. It's my experience that royal familes can never mind their own business and often impose themselves upon others. " A mischievious gleam enters into Nick's jade green eyes as a thought occurs to him. "Besides, Kayos is an arogant fool as well, but that hasn't stopped you yet." Nick hasn't been all that happy with Kayos lately, and is not afraid to express that. He motions toward a stone bench on the balcony. "Would you like to sit down?" He's not sure if she gets tired, but he does. He glances once more at the child and the dog, as if watching over them out of concern. The child is the youngest princess that lives in this very palace and the dog is Nick's.

Synderix finally does a chuckle express from her, "But, I haven't learned when I should stop.. Look what happened.. " Her gaze roams over to the bench as a silent nod would be presented to NIck. Her slender form peeled away from the balcony which she once lent against.. It was true, tiring was something she never felt before. Slow steps were taken as she made her way over to the balcony only to lower herself down onto it. She leant forward a bit, limbs coming to criss cross onto her lap as her weight was pressed down onto them.

Nick Corwin also has very long hair, not as long as Yurko's or Kayos, but it still comes down to about his knees. Very long hair on men is just the fashion in Kelosh and though Nick doesn't really care about fashion or what people think, he does care about blending in. If really long hair gets him less noticed around the palace, then that is what he wants. He turns quickly toward the bench as if with purpose, causing his hair to fly about behind him before settling back down again. Nick doesn't dress as fancy as the others that live here, but he doesn't dress too common either. He's wearing dark pants and a dark jacket over a silver shirt, all of fine materials and trimings. "You sure seem to spend a lot of time around here. Don't you an empire or something to lead somewhere as well?" He sits.

Synderix tilts her head up towards Nick. The light dances off the porcelin featutres as strands of obsidian hair came to collide further against her face. She seemed almost angelic in a dark way. One rumor was that she was truely a Dark Angel that managed to become a Goddess.. The smile still laid onto her lips, though very lightly was it indeed.. "My empire doesn't need as much guidance as AmKelosh does.. It's quite independent.. It does require me though a good majority of the time.. I slip in and out of AmKelosh all the time.. Though a lot of what they need me for is to answer questions which can be done via.. " Her words cut off as a limp slipped upwards, a single finger tapping against her temple before it would sink back down to its previous positoin.. "Psionics.."

Nick Corwin seems to understand and takes that answer to be the true one. He often forgets that most the other High Powers besides Kayos don't lead mortals and many of those creatures that live on other planes are easier to control. The ones of this plane can be good or evil of various degrees, which makes them harder to predict and keep order over. "Ah, yes. I remember Dacklyn once telling me he didn't have to pay that close attention to his realms either." Nick also understands fully the use of psiconics has he has used them very often in his life. That's not something that's really in his file at Kelosh, but then he's got a lot of secrets he's never even told Kayos. He just doesn't think Kayos needs to know all of them. When trying to peek into his mind, it often seems blank and void completely.

Synderix cringes lightly as Dacklyn's name was once more brought up.. It seemed to hit a major nerve with her, it was rare for Syn to show any emotions at all.. She tries her best to shake it off as once more words roll from her tongue.. "The people of this realm need a lot of supervising.. They are like children that need a babysitter constantly or things will become chaotic.. In my realm, they need not of any of that.. They know what is expected from them and they will fully do so.."

Nick Corwin first wonders why what he said seems to bother her so, then wonders if he should be slightly offended. He feels like Kayos assigned babysitters over him when the Amazons were assigned to guard him. He knows they were first assigned to keep him in AmKelosh. And now even though he's got his freedom back, the Amazons have not been reassigned. He wonders if he needs a lot of supervising, he sure seems to get more than he likes. "You make this realm sound bad, like it's not really a place anyone would want to be?" He means that to question why she comes here then.

Synderix shakes her head once again, "Not what I meant.. Mainly regaurding my observations on a good majority of the people that Kayos rules over.. " Allows another sigh to slip from her lips as she shifts her weight a bit in her seat.. " It's nice.. It's just some of the people here are arrogant and believe what they want to believe.. It's just really different from where I come from.. Customes.. Personalities.. everything.. " Her bottom lip is taken in as she begins to lightly chew on it.. Her gaze once more looking up towards Nick, trying to seek out the soul which may lay within him.. Hoping that this one was dacklyn..

Nick Corwin nods and looks out over the view of the balcony, taking a brief moment to enjoy the way the shadows play and dance upon the leaves of a tree near the balcony. He can hear the laughter of Connie, and the barks of Cerebus. Cerebus is acuatlly a watch dog in the realm of the dead, but not many people have realized that it's the same Cerebus, they just think Nick named the dog after that one. Nick isn't sure what Kayos would do if he found out, but he keeps it a secret for the sake of his brothers and sisters. He's the least magical of them all, they'd be upset if they found out he had the most powerful familar, it seems unbalanced. "I understand what you mean. I've been to other realms before."

Synderix silence continued to dwindle over her for a while longer, even as Nick spoke.. The lure to kiss him grew.. Though hesitant was she.. "It's quite nice to visit other realms.. " Her tone was quite soft.. The domain of lust beginning to shed forth more onto her.. The lightest hint of a scent began to travel into the wind.. Quite alluring when inhaled, drawing out the inner most lust of individuals that inhaled it.. "I can show you my realm.. If your interested.."

Nick Corwin has a very strong resistance to most mind altering affects, but though he doesn't feel the need to rip his clothes off, he's suddenly thinking Syn is atractive. Nick is the most modest guy to be found in AmKelosh, probably even more so than Jules. He frowns a little wondering why he is suddenly seeing her different, fore he's also one of the most paranoid men of AmKelosh. He thinks back over their whole conversation and every encounter they have ever had. "I think I could risk losing my freedom in this one if I ventured into another realm right now. I'd better stay put." Though his expression is slight confusion and deep thought, his tone is softer and more gentle, not a tone many ever hear from him.

Synderix shifts her tongue in her mouth, tapping against the roof of her mouth as connects the prods onto Nick's mind to open up a inner conversation.. <> Her head lightly lolls forward, in a quick nod as a response to him.. Pretending to still hold a conversation with him, even though it moved to inner thoughts.. The scent slightly thickens, its effect growing a bit more but not as much as to lunge onto someone.. More of the urge to kiss.. Even just to begin to flirt.. She needed answers.. She needed to know if there was a chance this one wasDacklyn

Nick Corwin looks down at his black dragon hide boots as if thinking about it. He can hear the barking of the dog and the laughter of the child still. The dog already knows what Syn has said to Nick and is warning Nick not to try anything. Nick is very tempted to go though. He'd like the privacy, it's not something he gets very often, and he feels that he can trust Syn not to harm him. However if he leaves too far from Cerebus, the dog's evil nature will take over and Kayos won't like it if Nick lets his dog kill Kayos' heir. "After the night Jules spent in the dungeon, I'd have to be insane to leave this place with you." He lets out a little laugh, but it's slightly sad. He'd love to leave, he'd also love to repay Kayos the pain that was inflicted upon Jules.

Synderix blinks, widely shocked obviously by his answer.."Dungeon? For saying a few words for me? That's insane.. I'm tired of this.. I'm not a piece of property that can be controlled and isolated.. " Within her throat a small growl begins to form as her head quickly snaps away from Nick, peering towards one of the amazons that stand near.. How she would love to rip off one of their heads to prove to Kayos she wasn't like them.. She wasn't his little pleasure toy, no.. She wasn't them.. She wasn't there for when Kayos wanted her.. The scent continued to linger in the air, though she wasn't paying quite enough attention to it as it thickened.. Her mind was on other things leaving it to grow at its own rate..

Nick Corwin laughs, but remains sitting on the bench. "As much as I'd love to see you go tell Kayos what you think of the situation, I make a point of avoiding him these days." He glances toward the Amazon as well, but will step between Syn and the Amazon if he feels the need to. Nick knows the Amazons are just here to honor a promise made by their ancestors 10,000 years ago. Of all the creatures of this realm, they are the only ones that follow their leader completely blindly, like the creatures of other realms follow their own High Powers. Nick also has a soft spot for the Amazons, he likes his women strong and beautiful. If they need saving, they're not his type. He likes a woman that can carry her own wieght. "You know, someone needs to teach him to respect others. I think you should do that."

Synderix's glare continues towards the Amazon, the thoughts of slicing the neck continued to grow within her mind. A few moments of silence plagued the air before the glare would soften as she shifts her weight to look back onto Nick.. "Like he would listen to me. In his eyes I am nothing but a piece of property which he thinks he owns. " A smirk unfolded from her the task of confronting Kayos upon a few matters would be sought out very shortly.. It was added to the list of things she would have to do..

Nick Corwin thinks to defend Kayos and say that maybe Kayos just thinks he owns the rest of them and since he can't control Syn, tries too hard to control the others. But he feels no real desire to defend Kayos right now. Let them work it out themselves. "Maybe he's jealous?" That mischivious gleam returns to Nick's eyes and he thinks to try and start something. "But then again, if he's jealous why only order the Arepharis and Ramzekie familes and the Warlords away from you? Why not order all the men of the empire to stay away?" He suddenly nods as if he's figured out the answer. "He doesn't trust you. Keeps you around only for pleasure." He looks back toward Synderix before going on. "I wouldn't take that from him, if I were you."

Synderix shadows that once laid dorment beneath her feet flicker upwards, theri grasp tightening as they weaved themselves slowly uprising over her. "I'm done with it all. " As the last word left her mouth the shadows finished engulfing her to take her back into the Umbra which she belonged..
