Time: nightfall
Location: AmKelosh: throne room

Synderix seated upon her usual spot of origin even if Kayos is there. Her legs draped lazily over the side of the throne as digits idly toy with one another, weaving the shadows within them as she continues to answer the questions unfolded onto her within her mind.. A sigh escapes the crimson tainted lips as her body shifts lightly, her head tilting a bit down as boredom seeps through her. Few strands of obsidian hair come to clash against the sides of her face.

Lord Voric has entered the throne room of the main palace, looking a little annoyed. Night is close to falling, but the setting sun still shines bring on the white walls and colorful mosaic patterns of Kayos' palace. Voric is more of a dark and shadowy type of guy. He lives in AmKelosh, but in a darker, more gothic looking palace, one that stands out in great contrast when compared to the bright desert style of palace they are in now. Voric moves toward the throne with very little sound, like a dark cloud sweeping across the sky. Of all those Synderix has met, he is deffiently the most graceful in his movments. His skin is pale and his hair is as dark as deepest night. His ears are pointed. He is a living vampire. The sun does not harm him, though he does not prefer it.

Synderix watches the stranger enter from the corner of her eye. Though pays no attention to him, at least not yet. Going on with toying with her shadows as if she did not even notice he entered. She grew used to the brightness that surrounding AmKelosh, though like his palace her own tower here stood out like a black rose surrounding by white daisies.. Shades of pink came to appear from the darkness of the mouth, tracing the crimson lips leaving a small trail of salivia behind only for the light to catch it and glisten it as if it was made of crystals. The tongue once more found its retreat back into the mouth while she awaited for the point she would actually pay attention to the stranger.

Lord Voric notices before he's all the way to Synderix, who it is. If he had been issued an order to stay away from her, he'd turn around now and leave, but unlike many of the others, he never got such an order. He is also different from most the people of AmKelosh becuase he really believes the High Powers are gods. He doesn't care if they started out that way or not, all that matters to him is they are now. He stops about ten feet from the throne and Syn, more out of respect for who she is then out of any fear of her. As far as he knows, she is an ally of Kayos, so there should be nothing to fear. "Does Kayos know you sit on his throne?" His voice is heavy with an old acent, but tainted by many he's picked up throughout his years.

Synderix's digits slowly come to a pause, the shadows sinking beneath the flesh to lay out of the sight of those around. A small chuckle arose from her as she listened to his words, her limbs slowly falling back down onto her lap as she fidgeted a bit more to sink further into comfort on the throne almost in a mocking manner. "Of course he does. He knows all, doesn't he?" The famous grin began to pierce her lips as she slowly tilted her head towards Voric, her gaze coming to roam him as if he was a piece of meat until they once more settled back into his gaze.

Lord Voric seems to pause and think about that. He titls his head and his eyes look all over the place as he is remembering just a few of the magical alarms and scrying devices he knows about. He then looks back to Synderix. "I think he does within these walls, yes." He stands there longer, looking Synderix over as if studying her. "I am Voric, Warlord of Death." He assumes she knows that means he leads the armies of the undead and other demonic creatures. He'd think that when making an ally of another High Power and half living in their realm, that you'd learn of all the stuff that goes on around that realm, day and night. He lifts a hand to rub a little sleep from his tired eyes, he's just gotten up and it's still early for him.

Synderix slides an arm upwards, a hand flicking towards nothing in particular.. "Espically if it concerns me, he does it seems.. " A pause came to her lips as the limb slowly fell back down onto her lips.. "And I presume you already know who I am.. " What seems to hold a great deal of cockyness, holds none.. It seemed everyone around here knew of her, therefore why should she waste introducing herself? Every movement that was displayed by her held the taint of a predatory cat, though she possesed more gracefulness than any cat that ever walked onto these realms..

Lord Voric he gives a slow, respectufl nod to indicate he does in fact know who she is. He was just giving her the curtosy of reminding her who he was in case she did not already know. He glances around once more but there is no where else to sit in this room other than the throne. He wonders if it'd be rude to just turn around and walk out now, just becuase he can see Kayos isn't here. He finally decides he should wait and see what she might want him to do. He has no pressing duties to atend to at this moment. He wasn't even coming to report anything, just to chat.

Synderix slips out a small groan of discomfort, her weight shifting as she unfolds her physique from its slightly curled up yet laying position on the throne. Feet come to meet the ground as her physique fully rises. Oynx leather pants hang low on her hips, tracing each curve and dip revealed to them until they flare out at the bottom to incase the leather boots quite a bit. The top resembled that of a tank top, though it was cut short just beneath the breasts revealing her full abdomen area and a good majority of her back. The clothes clung to her like a second skin, leaving her figure to be exmained easily though what laid underneath was a myster. She wasn't modest, not in the least. It was apparent from the other day and her swimming attire. "I assume your looking for Kayos, like everyone else"

Lord Voric gives a little shrug, though by the look on his face he's still either tired or bored. "Only if he wasn't busy." He thinks that might sound a bit odd, so he feels the need to elaborate more, "I don't have very many friends around here." He watches her as she stands, and looks her over, doing a very bad job of hiding the fact that he's looking. But then again, he doesn't think to hide the fact, and his expression is sure to show his approval.

Synderix lips purse in for a brief moment as a thought comes to her mind as his words ended.. The same scent continued to linger around her, though lightly.. Pouring gently from her pours.. She forgot to disband it earlier, for attention to it was not paid as of yet.. The tip of her tongue came to tap idly on the roof of her mouth before she would speak... "Then I assume that you are free enough to join me in a walk? I always like company.."

Lord Voric stops checking her out when she speaks and looks at her in slight confusion for a few moments. He then looks out the window to see that the sun has set enough it won't bother his eyes. Inside the palace however, lights have been coming on, cuasing it to become bright once again. "As long as we can walk in the night air. This palace has become stuffy." He doesn't really mean literly, the palace is protected magicaly from all sorts of things and he's sure being stuffy is probably one of them. His vampire senses would be driving him mad if it smelled too bad in here anyway, but all he can smell is the sweet scent of Synderix. "Company is not something I'm used to, but it is something I enjoy." He smiles softly to her.

Synderix's grin washes away only to have a smile appear in its place. A few more steps were taken closer towards him, until perhaps the comfort zone was breached.. She stood infront of him a mere six inches as a limb snaked upwards, digits coming to graze against the side of his face if he so allowed it.. "Excellent.. " The word slipped from her lips almost too smoothly.. Shadows flickered from beneath them quickly lashing up around them, coiling around them until nothing was left behind besides the faint scent that would soon diminish into the air. Not even a second passed until the shadows would unravel from around them. Before them would lay perhaps a strange place to Voric.. It was not in the lands of AmKelosh.. Though perhaps close to it.. The darkness of the tides washed onto the shore of the beach.. The shadows sunk beneath them into the sands which they stood onto. Though she would not remove her fingers just yet from him..

Lord Voric does not move away from her, though he might turn more to face her. He's taller than she is, but not near as tall as Kayos or even Nick. He does find himself in desire of her, and a little voice in his head keeps screaming that it's wrong, but her scent has overwhelmed his keen vampiric senses and it's all he can focus on. His head titls downward as she comes to him, but it's not a kiss his instincts move him toward, it's her neck he is staring at. He breaths her in and almost doesn't even hear her words. His lightly whispers back, "Careful, I haven't eaten yet." His thoughts suddenly find themselves being refocused as new sensations come bombarding around him. He looks up and around in confusion to find them on the beach, where the breeze lessens her scent enough for him to think.

Synderix continues to stand close to him. Her fingers remaining on the side of his face as the wind tosses itself around them, her scent strengthening slowly as she continues to watch him.. She has let few feed from her.. Though her blood was an ambrosia in a sense, its taste sweeter and purer than most that could be found.. This was due to one of her domains being that of Lust.. The free limb came to slid up, digits brushing away the hair that veiled the side of her neck before dropping back beside her.. "It's not good not to eat.." A pause came to her words as her head lightly tilted.. The skin tightening across her neck as the muscles tensed beneath.. "You're welcome to.."

Lord Voric would think that having a goddess take him off to a strange land and try to suduce him a bad thing if he had full control of his senses. He looks back to her as she brushes hair from her neck. He suddenly becomes more aware of the hand on his face and how close they are to each other. He's sure there must be some unspoken rule that this sort of thing is against. "That's not a good idea. I doubt I could handle to sudden power increase and might slip into a rage." He lowers his head toward his neck as if being moved by some unseen force. "I'm not that nice when I rage." His tone is a bit distant as are his thoughts. He moves his face along her neck, close to her skin, his breath on her neck. He closes his eyes and breaths her in, but turns his head away from her neck at the last minute.

Synderix slowly did her fingers trail down his face before the limb would come to rest beside her.. Her words were gentle as she spoke, "My power does not lay within my blood.. You have nothing to worry about.. I have been in situations where I allowed a few feed from me before.. They were much weaker than you and took it fine.. " The moon's radiant glow danced onto her pale flesh.. Some mistaken her for a vampire, though obviously she was not.. She was mistaken for quite a few things, rumors flying about on various accusations of what she was really.. As the scent is taken in, it increases in toxicity.. She could not explain the lure she had to him, only that she wished to follow it to where it took her..

Lord Voric forces himself to turn fully away from Synderix. He closes his eyes again, trying to focus on something, anything besides the goddess near him. His mouth is slightly open as if his fangs are fighting to get out. He doesn't really understand this reaction himself since he doesn't make it a habbit to drink blood. It's been a very long time since the last time he's done that. "What about Kayos?" It comes out a bit forcefully as if it were hard for him to bring up the subject. If he were a weaker man, he'd be all over Syn by now, but he takes his duties to Kayos very seriously and would never willingly do anything that might make his god angry. He opens his eyes and looks out over the land near the beach, trying to find something else to focus on besides her scent.

Synderix's head slowly comes back to rest in place, her neck still fully exposed as she watches him fight her.. Mm.. A challenge indeed this one would be.. " What about him?" A few skillful steps were taken as she comes up beside him, though her form was a mere foot or two away from him.. Her limbs slipping behind her as digits intercurl around one another. Her gaze mainly laid onto the ocean and beach infront of her.. The wind tossles around them, twining the scent further around Voric as few stray strands of hair come to brush against the porcelin face..

Lord Voric lowers his head into his hand, and blows out his nose as if trying to get her scent from his head. He's begining to realize he's having trouble focusing. What if Kayos likes this woman more than he lets on? What if Voric tries to presue her, but in doing so hurts Kayos? What if all this is some sort of trick to get him to reveal something? He decides to test the third one first. "Did you want something from me?" He looks back at her over his right shoulder, his eyes glazing over with a red as he is unknowingly calling up all sorts of demonic powers to try and overpower that which is already overpowered him. This is a dangerous thing to do, as it could cause him to rage if he calls too many dark powers at once without thought to control them.

Synderix's features remain soft, as they were before.. No sign of surprise nor mischevious within her.. "No." Simply put, yet holding a valid meaning to it.. She didn't want anything from him really..If she received something from him, that would be all the better.. Though his company is all she sought, and it was apparent.. Not in the type of company that she led on.. That would merely be a bonus..

Lord Voric wants to believe her. He also wants to believe it wouldn't bother Kayos if he were to do anything with her. He hangs his head and lets out little growl of frustration and confusion. "I don't normaly find myself out of control." He thinks to pick his words carefully. He doesn't really want to piss off a goddess, even if it's not his own. "Are you doing something to me?" He falls to his knees in the sand, facing her, his hands go to his head and leans forward trying to regain his senses. "My powers rest in darkness." He's trying to warn her that he fears he's close to losing control fully and slipping into a rage, which is what Dacklyn slipped into before he disapeared. It's something most with dark powers fear.

Synderix's slender brow arches as she listens to his words.. The scent slowly fading though remaining at the same aura it first had.. Few steps were taken to be brought before him as she lowers herself down infront of him.. "I am doing nothing but standing here.." Her words came to a pause as she tilted her head forward, dipping a bit underneath his to look up at him.. Quite akward in a sense.. "Perhaps it's my mere presence that is doing this to you.. You should learn not to fight instinct, merely allow it to flow.. This is why the rage comes out.. Believe me.. I know all too well of this rage that you fight.. For I fight the similiar one on a daily basis.. A battle that is never ending, yet compromise always has to be given.."

Lord Voric drops his hands to his lap, one falling on each knee, though his legs are spread slightly. He looks at her with an expression that is a mix of confusion, anger, and pleading. "I do not wish to do anything to anger Kayos." He glances down briefly then back toward her face. "I do not wish to anger you either, but my loyality lies first with him." He speaks slowly as if decided the weight of each of his words and picking them carefully. This is afterall a goddess he speaks to. He does think that it's fully possible that he just can't withstand the smell of her. It's been a very long time since he has had any trouble even remotely simular to this. "You are very pleasing to all my senses, and I don't seem to have the ability to handle that."

Synderix's lips blossom into a smile as she reaches a limb upwards, digits tracing along his face in a cradling sense.. She understood him.. It was obvious by her actions.. "There is little that doesn't anger kayos.. To walk wrong is to anger him.. That's why I brought us here.. So we could speak freely.. " A small blush touches her lips as she listens to the last of his words.. "How do you think you should handle that? I do apologize.. I can not control the way my senses appeal to you.. I am do rule over Lust after all.. "

Lord Voric he nods once and laughs very lightly when she says Kayos gets angry at everything. She doesn't even realize how bad Kayos is when she's not around, he has had people tortured for looking at him wrong, or not standing correctly before. Or maybe that was standing at all, back when he'd demand everyone drop to a bow when in his presence. It's hard to get anything done from the floor though, so that custom had to change. Voric isn't really thinking about that right now though, all he can think about is Synderix, and somewhere in the back of his mind he's trying to remind himself to be loyal to his god. He wants to touch her, but he doesn't want to lose his job, his life, or his friend. "Did you not think Kayos would let us speak in his palace?"

Synderix lips come to purse once more before an answer would reveal itself onto him.. "It's just I don't like constantly ears listening to every single of my conversations.. I like a little bit of privacy.. " The scent once more begins to slowly thicken, though at a much slower rate.. The wind twining about it to twist it around Voric a bit.. Her lips still hung dangerously close to him, her head lightly dipped beneath his waiting for him to at least lift up his head so she could get out of this akward position.. The locks of obsidian still remained brushed away from the side of her neck revealed to Voric..

Lord Voric raises his head finally to look at her, and sits back on his heels, straighening his back. This action also puts a little more distance between them, but he suddenly realizes he's not in a position to get away very easily. A wave of a breeze sweeps over them from the ocean, brining with it the smell of salt, water, and Synderix. Voric takes in a deep breath through his mouth and lets it out again. He's not so sure that Syn is not up to something, but he doesn't know what that might be. "Privacy? For what?" His red eyes wash over her, like the waves on the shore behind her.

Synderix slowly lowers herself back onto her own heels as he does. Her head straightening itself though the wing continues to twine itself around her hair pulling it away from a side of her neck. "To talk without having an amazon watching my every move and listening to everything I say. It gets old when you go to bathe and have an amazon walk in on you. " A sly grin comes across her lips as she decides to brighten the mood a bit.. "I was tempted at one point to lure one into the tub with me to teach Kayos I have my boundries.. But, that probably would of only had him rushing down there to watch or even join.. Which I didn't have in mind.. " Her nostrils lightly flared, intaking the scents around her. Her chest rising fully with the deepend breath causing the material to strain around the breasts.

Lord Voric tries to only breath through his mouth, so he doesn't smell her as strongly. He hasn't had that much experiance with Amazons himself, nor has he really been exposed to them around AmKelosh. "Is that what you're trying to do with me? Teach Kayos some sort of leason?" He's pretty sure that could get him killed, and could lose Kayos his allience with Synderix. Voric knows how much the Kelosh Empire can benifit from from that allience. "I don't want to be a pawn in whatever games you are playing with each other." He's pretty sure that his statment will mean nothing to her if that's what she's doing. He knows enough to know the High Powers don't care who they use as long as they get what they want. He keeps his hands on his legs, for fear they will try to find their way to other areas.

Synderix archs a slender brow as she awaits for the last of his words to spill out. "I can't believe you would make such accusations.. I don't use people to teach Kayos his lessons.. I merely tell it to his face.. It was a random thought that popped into my mind.. " Her facial features showed a bit of hurt within them mixed with shock.. Her gaze slowly drifting down towards the sand that laid beneath her as her weight shifted a bit more behind her to allow the legs to spread and her ass to fall into the sand.

Lord Voric is not so sure he believes her. Her scent is flooding his senses and makes it so hard for him to focus. He won't be able to contain himself much longer if they continue on in this way. He lets out one last little growl of annoyance, but it's directed more at his inability to fight whatever it is that's making him act this way, rather than at Syn personally. In a movment so quick that no mortal eye could follow -and very few demi-gods as well- he leaps up off the sands and soars into the night sky. He stops a couple seconds later, hundreds of feet straight up from the beach. He just needs to fill his lungs with different air that doesn't smell of Syn, so he can start thinking straight once more.

Synderix rolls her eyes as Voric speeds off.. She wasn't in the mood to chase prey tonight.. That's what they kept doing.. running.. It was quite odd.. Before she couldn't keep them away, yet now they run.. Though the thought crossed her mind of what Kayos might have done to them in order for them to run from her so often.. A single limb rose from its resting fingers, digits swaying the air as she allowed Voric to pass through.. The illusion appearing as if he just soared out of the beach area, though infact he was once more to enter back into the realm where AmKelosh rests..
