Time: afternoon
Location: AmKelosh: throne room of main palace

Synderix sitted in her usual spot when Kayos isn't around, wanting to toy with Kayos a bit after the events of last night. Her small physique is draped lazily over the throne room as digits twine a few shadows together out of boredom. The smile still remained fully on her lips as flashbacks of the night's events continued to play within her mind. Petite legs draped over one another, as comfort began to be sought while seated on the throne that belonged to Kayos.

Jules enters the throne room, looking for his lord and master. He instead finds a woman on the throne and approaches out of curiousity. He is wearing a blue space flight suit and a yellow cape. His clothing is a bit less extravagant than his fellow Warlords, but still fitting for someone that holds a high station in the empire. He lifts a gloved hand as if to wave, but simply holds it in the air then drops it. He stops a few feet from the throne. He looks around a little confused then back to the woman on the throne. "Hi, where's Kayos?"

Synderix slowly do her digits pause their action as her head lolls towards the direction of the one who just entered. The limbs came to rest onto her lap as an idea sparks within her mind. She remained slumped in the throne, though still holding that dominance aura that she tends to have.. "He's dead.." Her features were blank for emotions, her words holding a serious effect over them.. For most, she can be quite convincing..

Jules lets out a slight nervous laugh, as if he thinks it's funny, but isn't sure he should be laughing or that she's joking. But technicaly Kayos isn't alive, that'd make him dead. "Yeah, he sure is." Most the mannerisms of Jules seem slightly nervous, like he's always afraid someone will notice him, or see him for something other than he is. Jules stops laughing and looks back to Synderix again, "Have we met before?" He reaches up and scratches at his neck in a nervous action. He seems to already have the idea he's in the presence of someone greater than himself.

Synderix 's lips curl into a grin as he took the joke. At least someone around here at a sense of humor. Her gaze begins to slowly drift, following each of the curves that created Jules before rising back up to meet his gaze. It took her a few moments before she would speak, leaving that 'odd silence' to stir in the air.. "I'm afraid not.. " She slowly adjusts herself, rising in the throne as legs came to uncurl from over one another. She pulled herself from the slauched position to sit correctly in the throne.. " I'm Synderix.."

Jules takes a step back from Synderix as she stands and states her name. His laughter has died and he seems very uncomfortable suddenly. He looks around as if for an escape or back up. "Oh, I. Uh." He stands still, but in his confusion of how he should adress Syn, he just stands there looking lost. He finally decides that Kayos would get mad if he bowed before Synderix, but isn't sure Kayos would allow him to touch her either in order to shake her hand. "Nice to meet you, uh. . " He searches for a word to call her. Can't call her Goddess, it's forbidden by Keloshian law to reguard the Kayos as a god, and this seems too simular. Can't call her Holiness for that same reason. Can't call her Highness or Majesty for that'd make it sound like he was giving her power over the empire, which would land him in trouble. He finally gives up on adding any kind of title. "I'm Jules. Warlord of Space."

Synderix chuckles lightly as she watches the actions of jules, her form finally rising from the throne as she places cladded feet onto the ground. The same grace envelopes her as it always does, though she can be a bit intimidating. Her steps drew closer to him, each one sparking the shadows to flicker for a brief moment under them before disappearing once again. She came to a pause a mere foot and a half from Jules, perhaps invading his 'comfort zone' though it appeared she has already done this. A limb snakes out from her side, digits uncoiling in an offer of a hand to him. "Pleasure to meet you Jules.. " She paused her words as a smile fully revealed itself onto her lips.. "You shouldn't be so nervous.. I won't bite.. hard.. " Another chuckle errupts from her but finds its life short...

Jules takes one step back as she advances, but then holds his ground as if afraid he'll get in trouble or will be seen as disrespecting her in some way for backing up. Of all the Warlords, Jules has been on the recieving end of Kayos anger the most times. Jules is covered in scars, many of which are visible to prove he knows how angry Kayos can be. Jules let's Synderix aproach him, but grows increasingly more uncomfortable with every step she takes. Upon her words he glances at his watch, "Oh damn. I got somewhere I need to be." He ignores her outstretched hand, as much from fear of her as what Kayos would do if he touched her, and rushes out of the throne room.

Synderix interest indeed has peaked in her.. She chuckles lightly as she watches him run.. He couldn't run far from her.. The shadows that lay dorment beneath the soles of her feet quickly strike up around her, weaving themselves until she is completely dissolved within their grasp. Not even a second passed until they would regroup, their actions would surpass that of time. The shadows undo their grasp around her as she seems to appear out of nowhere infront of Jules. If his actions aren't quick, he would likely run into her for she only appeared mere inches infront of him. Her head would come to tilt a bit as she says to him, "Somewhere so important that you would offend me by not offering your hand in a mere shake and disinegrate my boredom with your company?"

Jules is not fast enough when on land. Partly becuase he's not used to this planet's gravitational pull. He's used to space where it's cold, silent, and you only weigh as much as you want to. Here it's hot, loud, and feels different just moving around for every day tasks. If Synderix does not dodge him, he'll stumble right into her and most likely land on top of her on the ground. Jules isn't the most graceful of the Warlords, he's sort of the dork of the bunch in fact. He lets out a small cry of surprise, but doesn't even realize who he has run into at first. "I uh. . . am looking for my. . uh. . for Kayos. Yes. I'm looking for Kayos."

Synderix didn't quite expect the full force behind Jules and is caught off guard by it.. Her form comes to land onto the ground, with Jules ontop of her.. It would look quite bad if one was to walk in on this.. Though Kayos was quite busy with his work luckily.. She never had this type of view before.. Too used to looking up at Kayos ontop of her.. Though she seemed quite calm about the whole thing, a bit too calm.. She chuckles a little bit awaiting for him to remove himself from her, though she doesnt mind secretly.. She says, while him still planted ontop of her.. "He's too busy to be disturbed.. "

Jules grows a very pale color of white upon seeing who he landed on. He's so caught off guard that at first he can't even think of what to do, as if waiting for Kayos to show up and deal out whatever punishment he should get for this. Everyone knows that Syn and Kayos have a thing going on, and Kayos has forbidden his sons and the Warlords from getting too close to Syn. He regains his senses and tries to get up, but is having trouble trying to decide how to go about that without touching anything he shouldn't be touching. "Are you trying to get me killed?!" His fear of his master far outwieghs his fear of a war goddess. He finally manages to find a way to at least get to his knees.

Synderix couldn't help but laugh as he attempts to get up without touching her further. She could care less if he touched her or not.. He was merely trying to get up.. The laughter grows as she heards his words, her legs sliding from between his as she rises to her feet. A limb quickly snaps outwards, digits grasping around the material that covered his chest and pulled him up to his feet.. Her actions would outdo any reaction he may try to take.. She slowly released him as the limb came down to her side.. The laughter slowly dies out as she archs a brow curiously at him.. "I didn't mean to show up so close to you.. My fault.. I wasn't paying enough attention and you ran into me.. No biggie.. It's not like I sat there and grabbed your groin and pulled you onto me.. " She chuckles lightly

Jules doesn't even try to make a move to stop her from helping him to his feet, he just does his best to get his legs under himself. He's not all that tall for a man, only 5'9". He brushes himself off, trying to pretend the situation isn't as bad as he really feels it is. He listens to her apology, but is pretty sure she knew exactly what she was doing. She's a goddess, don't they always know what they're doing? When she mentions his groind, he looks at her in horror, his face turning as red as his hair. This reddenss helps to reveal the dark blue of his eyes, a color most find odd. "Uh. Did he?" He suddenly glances around again as if to make sure no one saw him touch Synderix. He didn't mean to, honest!

Synderix chuckles again, finding this quite halarious. She shakes her head lightly as she shifts her weight in stance. "By the way your acting, it looks like he did.. Though I have no idea of such a hit.. It's not like I'm anyone's property anyways.. " On purpose her eyes shifted down once more, making it obvious she's checking him out until they once more come back to lock on his gaze. "No offense, but you appear as if you do not encounter women often.. " Her limb once more stretches outwards, digits spawning fully out offering the handshake once more.. "Though, it is always polite when one offers a hand to you that you shake it.."

Jules shrugs his shoulders a bit and moves his hands backwards straightening his yellow cloak back out again. His dark blue space suit is a bit tight, so it's very obvious what kind of build he has. It's not a very big one, he doesn't need that many muscles to command a space fleet, or in his case, several space fleets. "I encounter women often, but you're the first goddess I've ever met." He seems to have found more of his voice now than when they first met. Words are coming so hard to him, but there is still a lump in his throat. He still makes no move to touch her, but keeps his hands on the sides of his cloak. "I'm not allowed to touch you." He glances at her hand, but tries very hard for his eyes to only go there or to her face. Can't get caught looking.

Synderix smirks lightly as she continues to hold her hand out. "Then don't offend the first one you meet, shake my hand. I'm not going to bite you, nor is it going to kill you to touch me. If anything, I believe Kayos would find it quite offensive if you do not show politeness towards me. " Her voice shifts its tone, the humor being lost to her as the sterness comes over her. It was all part of her ploy to sink her claws into him. Though, it appears it's going to be harder than it looks like. Beneath the mask she shows to the outside world, a grin grows as invisible wires began to connect themselves onto Jules's mind listening to his thoughts intensely. She would began to sink her claws further in as a mind message was sent into Jules.. <>

Jules all the thoughts on the surface of his mind at this time are about Kayos and how much trouble he can get into. Jules always seems to find himself at the recieving end of Kayos' anger. It's not something he wishes to tempt. He recalls a very vivid, recent memory of Kayos personaly telling Jules to not go anywhere near Synderix. He's already sure to get a beating just for entering the throne room today. But he was coming to give Kayos his report and didn't realize the woman was Syn. "You can torture me all you want, but I'm not going to disobey Kayos." His looks quickly fades from frightened determination to confusion. Is that torture? She used it as a threat, but does he have to take it that way?

Synderix wouldn't give up that easily, her hand still remaining out towards him. "Wouldn't it be disobeying Kayos by not showing me respect? " Thoughts stirred within her mind, plans of sorts. She would not wait any longer. Her actions now become swift, and in a blink of an eye her limb snapped out for digits to ensnarl around his hand. He probably would not have time to react, as quickly as her hand came to grasp onto his it was removed once more coming back to her side. "See, it didn't kill you.. Now did it? " A grin forming onto her lips though fades a moment or two later.. "I'll take care of Kayos.. He won't harm you.. He's just pissing on territory he thinks is his too much is all.. "

Jules jumps back when she reaches out and touches him. "No! Kayos didn't order me to respect you, he ordered me not to go near you." He rubs his hand she touched with his other hand as if it hurt, though it did not. "And it might still, Kayos just hasn't found out yet is all." Jules has scars on his face that prove he knows what it means to disobey Kayos. He's got many other scars elsewhere, but they are hidden under his clothing. "And I was born a slave. I AM his property." He wishes she'd just say whatever it is she wants so he can go hide before Kayos finds him here.

Synderix eyelids squint into a glare towards Jules. She grew tire and angered by the way Kayos treated her.. She wans't his territory.. Within her throat a growl began to vibrate as she violent steps were taken back towards the throne room, purposely her weight veered a bit as her arm and shoulder came to nip across his. In usual gesture of this act, it would make as if she was challenging him to a fight. But, she was merely laying more fear into his heart. She wasn't in the mood for this..

Jules isn't one to catch such a challenge, he sees it for what it is. He has pissed off a goddess and knows it. But on many levels he still thinks it's better than pissing off Kayos. He waits there, all stiff until she's taken a few steps beyond him before continuing on his way. He wonders if Kayos already knows, or if he should go tell him. If he doesn't tell Kayos will it be even worse for him if Kayos finds out, or already knows. He finally decides to include the encounter when he gives his report. He sighs and his shoulders slump as he walks on. He's in for it now, and he doesn't even realize how badly right now. But going near Synderix is already a mistake he won't make again. Not of his own free will anyway.
