Time: late morning
Location: Castillo del Croxx angelica_runes_croxx sat upon the barrels staring at the water. Watching it rippled against the posts that held the dock up. Her head tilte dto the side, watching the shadows just unde rthe surrface play. Local Salmon swam close to these piers. She Had helped catch a few from time to time. Since the stupid fish spwan in shallow water. drewing in a deep breath, her head tilte dback and she stared at the fading sun..."Perhaps the boat is delayed again....."

Torvald steps up behind Angel moving as silent as any hunter would. When your enemy has super hearing, you learn to be very quite. He lets out a kind laugh as he shrugs off his pack and lets it drop next to him. He's been gone since the war. His father's land was having trouble with criminals and other nasties from Sandhill. He had to return home and help out. Odd though, but this place feels like home to him. He grew up here under the guiadance of his Uncle Ferdinand. "Leaving already? But I just got back." He offers a kind and warm smile to Angel. It feels really good to be home again.

Angelica Croxx's head twisted about. she gasped and almost felof the barrel. being agily and such that she was. she leap from the barrel, her foot striking it, teeteringit against the edge of the pier, it fell in...Kerplunk~ she thrrew her arm wide and rushed at her cousin..."torvald!!!" she yelled. she cared little at making a scene. She smiled and was careful not to knock him over or into the water. A mane of darken chestnut locks flaring about her rather older self.

Torvald is taken a little by surprise, his expression changes rappidly. He almost thinks she's going to fall in and worries for her, then he smiles broadly as she comes at him. He's a bit surprised at how happy she is to see him, and a bit worried she's going to push them both in. He stumbles a step backwards at her momentum, but catches himself before he nears the edge of the dock. He wraps his arms around her in a huge bear hug. "Hey, little cousin. Miss me?"

Angelica Croxx of course i have...." she hugged him tightly. her arms wrapping about his waist, as he hugged her. She smiled an dclosed her eyes. This meant more to her then any would know. she felt almost on the verge of tears. things of late not going for her at all. She softly spoke..."i missed you terribly.." her hair all in he rface, perhaps hiding tears of joy and happiness, perhaps tears of more.

Angelica CroxxPushe dherself back to get a better look of him. she smiled..."Married yet?" she asked teasing him, knowing how he always love dher jokes... she smirked and just threw herself at him against. "I'm so glad your home..."

Torvald is really honored by her display of how much she missed him. He knows her brothers were sent off after the war too, to help rebuild Marrok, the land that used to belong to the Jar'Ha. The king figured that since they wanted the civil war, they could help the innocent victims of Marrok get over it by helping to establish new leadership from their own people. He laughs as she jokes. "I still can't get the king to okay multiply wives, and I just can't see settling down with only one." He gives an innocent shrug, but he is joking. In truth he's not ready to give up his days of being a player, but maybe he just hasn't met the right one yet. "I'm glad I'm home too. I missed the Castillo." He looks with a warm smile, his eyes almost sad at the mememories of how much he missed all this.

Angelica Croxx Torvald you do lie....BVut i am gla dyou are here. you married would take you away again." she knew not just how much she misse dher family. She smiled and stepped back. a cherrub look to her features. she smiled an dlooke dto him. taking him in fully this time. her hand move dto his loing locks no..."You look due for a trim?"

Torvald laughs as she fondles his hair. When he left it was short, he also didn't wear armor when he left, but he does not. He had a totally different kind of enemy back home in Lamorak. It's one of the reasons he was sent back again. The danger at home isn't gone, but larger danger is feared from the east. This time even the king is worried. Spyder Forest is a very huge and deadly place. None can go ther and not die. Getting used to fighting an enemy that was alive has given Torvald a little of an edge over some of the other Croxx who are still used to only fighting undead. Even more his talents still rest in fighting undead. They're starting this war off outmaned and under equiped. But then a war hasn't started yet, maybe it won't? "The ladies seem to like it long." He shrugs with a smug grin.

Angelica Croxx right, and you know so much about ladies.." she laughed and stepped back to look at his new attire. "what news from your father have you?" she smiled and folded her arms about herself. Things were the same between them, that was no fighting. she smiled and could not help but smile brighter an dbigger.

Torvald only laughs at her comment about him knowing the ladies. Everyone knows he's got an active love life, well okay love is never an issue, but most the ladies know that and don't care. He just likes to romp around every now and then. His laugh fades to a smile as she brings up his father, Lord Mateo. "He's really busy, so he can't come this way to visit. He sends his regrets that he hasn't made to the the Castillo since Uncle Ferdinand died. Sandhill is vey close to our lands and some of the organized crime syndicates have been giving us trouble." There are other bandits they have to worry about as well, but he doesn't need to worry her about things she can not help change. They have more pressing matters from the east. The dangers of the Ra'Mir are stronger and more urgant.

Angelica Croxx shrugging her shoulders, she hsakes her head understanding the busy schedule of her uncle. though she tries to show that it doe snot trouble her. she steps passed him, a soft light hearted sigh escapes. she picks up his pack and slings it ove rher shoulder. "then home shall we.' She looke dat him and force a smile. It was true that she love dher father even though he love dher less because of her sex. But she missed him all the more. She smiled to torvald...."well...."

Torvald starts to protest as she takes his bag, but then shuts his mouth knowing better. She's always felt like she's got something to prove and in the past not letting her try only made things worst. She never had anything to prove to him however. Torvald can't help but think her brothers would have let up on her some had she stopped trying to hard to prove herself. It made her reckless. She'd rush headlong into danger to prove she could, then get in trouble. No one can do it on their own and Croxx are big on team work. He smiles again and turns to look at the main keep. He had to pass it to come out to the docks, but he wanted to see her before putting his things in his room. He just felt the need to be welcomed home. And he knew she'd be mad at him if he didn't come look for her right away.

Angelica Croxx so how long ar eyou here for?" she struggled with the pack, the slowly adapted it to her weight. she smiled as she staggered a step or two to gain the balance. Her hands curled about the straps. she waited for him to say forever, but that was the curse of Hanv'Var, forever was a short time. Her darken locks would show that she had matured in her looks. though perhaps no in he rmind set. Though she trained more and fought with others less. so in all she had matured in ways.

Torvald "Until I die." He says it half joking, half serious. It's rare that a Croxx man lives past the age of 20 and even more rare that he lives past the age of 30. Torvald already made it past the first mark. When the war eneded mother's weep in joy thinking the danger was finally over, but a new danger was just lurking around the corner. More Croxx will die young before this next threat is put down, Torvald is sure of that. And it's another one that can last generations. Unless Torvald gets called away again or his older brothers die and he had to go become lord of Lamorak, he'll remain here. This place is a good place to be the heart of the war. It's not the full center of Hana'Var, the capital is that, but it's got a port, which makes it good for supplie to come in and out.

Angelica Croxxgaze lifted to the many boats that were cominginto dock. "Perhaps Gerald will be home soon. I thought he was in neighbouring lands trying to gain support fo rthe king and such. But Tanis says he is far acros sthe ocean. Shrugs Perhaps my uptight brother has a second life at that

Torvald listens as they walk and Angel tells her of things. He wonders what has gone on around here while he was gone. The aftermath of a war can be a confusing time, as people have to adjust to life after generations of fighting vampires. Or in the case of those in Marrok, generations of beign ruled and fed on by vampires. "I don't know. I haven't kept in touch. I don't imagine he's gone too far, he still has to rule, issue orders, and make desisions that affect Kaherdin. Maybe Marrok too. I think he did say something about helping that vamp guy. . what was his name." He looks thoughtful as he walks, not even noticeding some random maid is giving him the eye. "Lemekos or something? He's the new baron of Marrok right? But there were a lot of postions of lord left open after the war."
