Time: sometime during the day
Location: AmKelosh throne room.
Note: Erconi was played by this same controler awhile back and departed from the group. In this session he makes his return to the plot. Old players are almost always welcomed back.

Erconi a dark cloaked figure moves through the halls, his presence unseen by the amazon guards untill he begins to approach the entrance to the throne room, his figure cloaked in dark heavy robes, the air, both physical and spiritual begining to whistle around the area, sending a deep chill to ones very soul, this strange effect not like him, though something.. something has changed within him, he stands silently before the entrance to the throne room, visible now after having moved from the shadows, the amazon guards rapidly begining to surround him and point their weapons at him, and he gazes upon them from the shadows of his hood, not saying a word..

Zelda is walking down the hallways. She looks very young, but her power feels old. Not near as old as a High Power, but old enough. She is what would be refered to as a Power. She's not high, but she's one of the higher ranking of Kayos' followers, a possible heir. Erconi would most likely not recognize her or have ever met her, but she would notice him and tell who he is. Kayos has trained her well for such a thing. She makes a slight motion and the Amazons all back down. It is said they take orders only from Kayos himself. Not even most his children would be able to tell them to stand down. The young woman speaks with a voice that is soft and kind. There is a certain rhythmatic way she talks which suggests she is a magic user. If Erconi has done his homework he might realize she is Zelda Arepharis, right hand of Kayos. She is the High Sorceress of the Kelosh Empire. "Master Kayos is on his throne." She motions towards the throne and makes no other move. She just stands there as if she were suddenly turned into a polite statue. If Erconi does not speak to her, she'll just contine back on her way toward her lab, which is on this same floor.

Erconi nods to the woman and he moves into the throne room, looking upon kayos from beneath his hood, examining the man casually and he shifts as he looks around the throne room, and then looks to kyros speaking out a simple sentence, " i have returned... what is your allegience? "

Master Kayos was sitting causally in his throne when Erconi entered. There are all sorts of people around buzzing about, helping to take care of the business of running the empire. Kayos straightens up in his seat and lifts a hand, waving the people to leave. They do instantly, wasting no time. Kayos is known to have a fierce temper and tolerates no disobedance. When he says jump, you don't hestitate long enough to ask how high, you start jumping to the best of your ability and pray it's good enough. He is reminded of the last simular visit he got. It was from Gwyndolyn, Erconi's sworn enemy and the other Council Chair of the High Council. She demanded Kayos stop spreading the rumors that Hyicia killed Erconi's little brother Dacklyn. Gwyn didn't bother to ask who Kayos would allign with. Kayos was told by Gwyndolyn that he belongs to her and can't fight it. He of course argued that, but he did almost get worried for a bit. Last war no one really noticed him, but his power has grown a lot since then. He could tip the scales and he knows it. Both sides have already lost a member. Everyone is waiting to see which side the wildcards, Kayos and Mekehlee will go to. But Mekehlee has said she'll go to whichever side Kayos does, so he's the one who's alliance needs to be obtained. "Well let's see. . .. Synderix is loyal to me. Does that count?"

Erconi he looks to kayos and he blinks, shifting slightly as he shakes his head and then looks to kayos, speaking out to him, " My side or... hers... there is no posistion of neutrality anymore here now that i have returned, you shall make your choice, and my actions shall be decided by that choice, it is a simple yes or no... and do not attempt to decieve me... " he shifts as he looks to kayos from beneath the shadow of his hood a dark er look within his eyes then the shadows of his hood could ever match, what erconi has been through, how he has prepared, one might never know.. he even prepared for the event of his death, a costly ritual it was for those followers he gained at the time, though if he is destroyed... he will be reborn, though... far more vulnerable when reborn...

Master Kayos changes his expression. He might be frowning or just thinking. His demonic, vampire like features make it almost impossible to read his expresison. Only those that know him very well can read him. But even then it's not much help. His moods are like his name. They'll change on the drop of a hat. He can be very unpridicatble, but if his empire is any indication he can also be loyal at the same time. He was friends with Dacklyn for 10,000 years and never once turned on his friend. Dacklyn was Kayos' best friend and Erconi's little brother. Kayos does not forget this. Erconi and Dacklyn's other brother is also on the High Council. Synderix practicly lives with Kayos now and she sits on the same side as the brothers. Maybe that's why Gwyndolyn is so interested. If Kayos sided with Gwyn and brought both Mekehlee and Synderix to that side, there'd only be Erconi, Cathal, and Naomi against everyone else. Kayos has no problems with those three however. He does have a problem with Gwyndolyn. She has made the mistake of trying to tell Kayos what to do and trying to make him one of her belongings. Greed is not a good trait to have. He's reminded how young he is compaired to the others, and really not as powerful either. He's just really hard to kill right now. He takes in a breath and lets it out again, though he doesn't need to breath. He's undead. "Well I sure as hell am not sidding with Gwyndolyn."

Erconi blinks, looking towards kayos and he speaks to him, " i told you to answer yes or no... " and erconi raises his hand in a simple gesture, energies comprised of raw entropy, darkness, twisted energys, spiritual force, gathers into a softball size almost star shaped orb of darkness around erconis hand, and he launches it towards kayos, the attack if it hits, made to tear through flesh and spirit, to tear at ones reserves of energy even, though even if it works it wont be instantly fatal, though a barrage of such.. and one could leave a scar.. a twisted blemish upon ones flesh and spirit.. a reminder that is hard to remove..

Master Kayos has a very large flaw, it's called ego. He tends to forget his place and starts to think he's unstopable and supreme. Maybe it's anthor curse placed on him by Mekehlee, or maybe it's becaue no one ever dares to stand against him. He can feel the dark energies that Erconi is about to use, but isn't as conserned as he should be. In fact his only thought is to make sure all the mortals are out of the way. His royal guard, the Amazons, are only human. He motions for none to interfer, and they don't, but that doesn't leave him enough time to think about dodging or shielding. But then he doesn't see a need to. The attack rips through him, he does not bleed, he has no blood. He does let out a small cry of shock and anger, but he feels no pain. He lost his pain receptors a long time ago and since undead can not be healed, no one can fix his pain receptors. Kayos falls back into his throne, as he as about to get up. As soon as the energy has ripped through, Kayos' flesh mends itself. He can feel some damage done to unseen areas, but tries to dismiss it for now. He'll worry about it later. He reguards Erconi and the tension in the room grows as the mortals worry about how Kayos will react. As always Kayos thinks of his empire first. His own desires or needs are unimportant. "Is that you way of saying please? It sucks. And quite frankly I'm offended you have to ask. I have no intention of following Gwyn and I know staying neutral will only get me and my empire killed." Damn this chagnes some of his plans. He'd forgotten how much more powerful the others are than him.

Erconi looks towards kayos and he speaks out to him, " that is my way of saying, when i ask you whether you are on my side, and ask you to state yes or no.. for you to answer yes or no, when the war comes, i need my orders followed if you are to be on my side, and my tolerance for.. disobediance grows thin... even as my amount of followers grows... "

Master Kayos understands. That all makes perfect sense to him and any offense he might have taken is suddenly gone. He too often smites hard and fast when orders are not followed quickly. War is a tricky time, there is no room for hesitation or mistakes made from that hesitation. Kayos has no more room for more followers. His empire has grown as large as it can grow and still be maintained with a good level of order. He'll have a lot of thinking to do later. He had thought Erconi had grown too distant to be a leader, but it doesn't seem that way now. Prehaps Kayos was wrong. But Gwyndolyn must die this time, he's sure of that. That part of his plan hasn't changed. It's getting her killed in such a way that Sol doesn't hold it against Kayos that will be tricky. "I'm with you, Erconi."

Erconi he looks towards kayos and he nods to him, speaking out to him in a quiet tone, " good.... may the pain remind you of who you owe your allegience to... and remind you that if i am betrayed, my vengeance shall be swift and deveastating...you have only but a sample of my power... you do not wish to be on the recieving end of my full wrath... now.... how many are on.. our side... "

Master Kayos thinks there are better ways to be reminded, but then he binds almost all his people. It's impossible for them to betray him. . unles you take them to a anti-magic zone to torture them. Kayos is cursed however, though most do not know it. It's not something he let's anyone know. He has to do what is best for the Kelosh empire, so as long as Erconi helps protect the people, Kayos will stay loyal to him. "I do not know. I was making friends reguardless of which side they were on. I'd guess it's 7 against 5 in your favor. However I'm not sure if Sol still intends on following his sister or if he'd be willing to help us. He is my friend after all. He might be swayed. If that happens, then Gwyndolyn wouldn't stand a chance. The scales are already in your favor."

Erconi he smiles darkly as he looks to kayos, perfect...and he speaks up again, " seven... perfect, if were off by one or two i can bring someone in to compensate... a few.. old friends of mine.. but first we need to recover the ritual site from the entitys which guard it... with the ritual site... we shall be able to focus our energies, and obliterate.. her... and with such a show of power.. the others shall surely bow down before myself and those who are loyal to me... though first we need to gather our forces... we shall need our elite as we ourselves cannot be at the ritual site untill it has been.... cleansed.. of those currently controlling it..."

Master Kayos has never heard of this ritual site, but is not surprised by that. He's only been through one war, he's very young. "Is that the same place where you and Gwyndolyn banded everyone together against Blaze the day you overthrew her?" He is of course refering to the one that started the High Council. She was claled Blaze and was the only Council Chair. Kayos heard that Erconi and Gwyndolyn became power hungry and that's why they over threw her. He's sure that is right of Gwyndolyn, but that Eronic most likley had better reasons. It was a very, very long time ago. It's said Blaze didn't really die that day, but went into hidding. But if that were true, why would she have stated in hidding instead of seeking revenage? The most powerful magical items around are relics of Blaze's creations.

Erconi he smiles slightly as he casually pulls his hood down, looking to kayos and he speaks to him, " ahhh... blaze.. i remember her.. yes... that is the site... though our forces need recover it first due to the energys created by its current occupants which prohibit us from being present there ourselves... once the energys are weakned though... " a smile forms upon his face, " we shall be able to finish of what few are left.. take care of our followers.. and begin to garner use of the site itself and what dormant energies lie within it.. "

Master Kayos has wanted more order on the council for a long time. Or a long time for him, not that long to the others since Kayos is so young compared to them. It was his intention to return the council to one leader. If Blaze were to meet Kayos, she'd most likley be proud of him, though Kayos would not know this. He knows nothing of this site or the ones that have it now, so he doesn't speak of it. All this will still work out to Kayos' plans and he'll be happy. Well as happy as one like him can get. He can't remember ever really being happy. Maybe back when he was mortal. But his mortal life is held as a very closed secret. Only Iatha, Mekehlee and couple of Kayos' most trusted followers know the truth to how Kayos became a High Power and what happened to Krystalla, the woman Kayos overthrew. "Just tell me what you need from me and I'll give it if I can spare it."

Erconi he looks to kayos and he speaks to him, the plans having formulated through erconis mind, and with what knowledge that erconi possess... a smile forms upon his face as he talks, an almost warm one, though its over his thoughts, not any sign of friendship with kayos, though it could be mistaken as such, " ahhh.. i need fifty of your fiercest amazon warriors... with the leadership of the sorceress... i myself shall be throwing in fifty of my best acolytes.. and my high priest.. a small force...but large enough to do the job with my priest and your sorceresss leading them..with strategys to maintain a minimum of casualtys on our side.. "

Master Kayos can't help but frown. He's only got 20 Amazons in his palace and Zelda never leaves his side, unless he's in battle without her. Kayos is a strange High Power in that he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty himself. He has many followers trained to do all sorts of things. Amazons are trained to guard his body, among doing other things to it. Zelda is his best advisor and is mainly in charge of keeping up with all the followers magical and all the wards, alarms, and whatnots in protecting AmKelosh, Kayos, and the empire. He's sure he has other followers best suited to this need without the risk of losing some of his most presious women. "I'd rather go myself then send my Amazons. They're only human, and if the need is great enough to require Zelda, it's too great to send the Amazons."

Erconi he looks to kayos and he speaks out to him as he speaks out, " ahhh.... i assume you have not the needed numbers then? very well... i shall supplement the diffrence with some very... special.. beings under my control, but you must understand.. a larger force while it would be effective, would rouse unwanted attention that could be very dangerous... and without the leadership of my high priest or your zelda and their powers... the smaller force would fail.. i assure you, the heaviest casualtys we may suffer shall be of my own people... "

Master Kayos "I have the numbers, I just think you're asking for the wrong ones." He offers a slight smile and wonders after he's said that if Erconi would get offended by it. Oh well too late, he said it. "I could gather a force if you just tell me exactly what is needed and what they'll be upagaisnt. I can't know who to send until I know the enemy." Kayos built the empire himself through war and often with very little damage to the land or the people. Well maybe not little, but never more than needed. He is pretty well known for his ability in war. He is a conqueror. "I may not be able to spare Zelda, for she is needed so badly here, but I could have her hand pick one of her children that best suits the needs for this task, if that will do?"

Erconi he blinks as he looks towards kayos and explains things to him calmly, though a slight wisp of smoke like darkness risess from erconis hand... " the defenders are a group of religious zealots and a pair of celestials belonging to a foreign god.... as such we need those who are the most fiercely loyal to us to match their will... and as a replacment for zelda... if it is possible... i shall have to examine her chilen to see if it can be done... though my own high priest is also very much needed where he is.. so i risk the same as you if not more considering my posistion....even now i make many sacrifices.. though i doubt you can comprehend them... perhaps more then others.... but note entirely.. "

Master Kayos can not let Zelda go, no matter how angry Erconi grows about it. It's the curse. Kayos just isn't allowed. If Zelda were to leave AmKelosh, Kayos, and of his children would be vunrable to attack. She is the sheild. "All the Arepharis family is devoted totally to me and the empire." Something in his eyes waves slightly. He's had trouble with one of the Arepharis children lately, but it's the warrior among them. The others are all magic users like their mothers. There are 23 in total. "If it is divine magices that are needed, I can gather a few of my children, a few of Zelda's and my post powerful palandins and clerics. Zelda herself does not draw any dinive power from me. All her powers are her own." Thinks on this and if he can't find people devoted enough he might send a few Amazons.

Erconi he blinks and he scratches his chin, looking to kayos as he thinks of something, and he speaks out to kayos in a calm tone, the wisp of energy gone for now, " what if zeldas presence proves to be the only way for us to win the battle... shall you let her join the fray then? and answer me plainly and deciesivly... with no deception... " he looks to kayos, the wisp of energy appearning again when he reminds kayos to answer simply and truthfully and then vanishing again as he looks to him..

Master Kayos frowns at the slight reminder. He doesn't feel it was needed. "If i have to, I can send her, but I think you're overestimating her powers in dealing with these things. She is not trained to attack or for battle at all for that matter. I will do whatever is best for the empire, that never needs to be doubted. The most important thing is that the empires survives. I'd sacrifice myself to that end if it came to it." Is sure that once he understands the enemy more he can find soemoen else to send. He doesn't want to have to train Zelda just to send her. She is too important to the empire. It doesn't matter how Kayos feels about her. His desires and wants are unimportant.
