Time: late morning
Location: AmKelosh, Nick's room
Note: "This is just another one of those that was never finished. Or if it was, I didn't save it. Sorry but I went through a long streak where I'd stopped saving trannies." ~ Kehle

Lark Sandstone ~moved along the halls toward Nick' room. she had the right mind to ask him to aid her in her training. A after thought to her. she turned down one hall then followed it along to nick's door. she knew the answer, but all the more there was no one else here who could match in skill then nick. she smirked wondering his words...

Nick Corwin is laying on his bed with his hands behind his head. The sun streams in on him. Karyn and Dekya are playing King of Fighters again. They really seem to love those fighting games. They laugh and taunt and cheer. Nick just remains silant, but he's smiling still. Things are starting to look up again.

Lark Sandstone her knocks is loud and hard. echoing inside. she then placed her hand to the handle and turne dit, entering the room.her gaze darted about, she knew the guards were on duty, she simply looked for them. "Nick..." she bellowed inward

Nick Corwin makes a frown now. Why does Lark always have to be so rude? She just bardges in and screams his name. A simple hello, or may I come in would do. But does Lark say these things? No, and he doubts she knows how to. Maybe she thinks she needs to yell over Karyn and Deyka and forgets that Nick has great hearing. "What? I'm right here. Calm down."

Lark Sandstone says, oh ...sorry... i was not sure if you were in here..." she knew he was, she just wante dto make him think the way he did. she came into his room..."may i have a word with you?" she looked to the guards, furrowing her brow...` hard at work i see~ she said to herself and then turned to nick.

Nick Corwin shrugs and sticks his hands behind his head. He glances at Lark then up to the ceiling. He sighs. "Why bothering asking, you won't care what I say anyway." She just barges into the room, so why would she bother to stop and try to play poliet now? Nick knows Lark has no idea what manners are. Her people skils are worse than his. He also hears Lark's remark about his Amazon friends and disaproves. They don't have to be bored to be on duty. Lark always tries to look at everything the hard way, and do all things the hard way. She's a strange one.

Lark Sandstone looking at nick, her gaze narrowed..."Look i came here to ask for your help. if you wish not to give it then fin. i shall be on my way. i have no time to waste placing these wit games with you..." she looked at him, she wondered if he would notice anything... looking at him there on his bed.

Nick Corwin did notice she could see, but only saw her once when she couldn't. He sighs again. Only Lark would think wanting her to speak nicly to him is a game of wits. How much inteligance does it take to ask him nicely or speak to him like he's an acutal person? He'll never be anything to Lark, just a stone to step on. He should just give up. "If you want help, ask for it and stop beating around the bush." Does she not realize she's wasting time now? Strange creature indeed.

Lark Sandstone says, I was not beating...."will you help or not?" she looked at him for offer of cooperation..."i wish to ask your help in horning my sword ships. i have been out of he loop a long while and wish them to be tuned up..." she looked down at him..."You one of the best around here....so who better to ask."

Nick Corwin is a bit surprised and surprised at his being surprised. He's watched her train and is unsure if his skill with a sword is better than hers. He'd never have volunteered to get into a sword fight with her. If he ever saw her coming with a sword, he'd draw a gun. He only fights if his life depends on it or he knows he can win. There's no sure win here. But he shouldn't tell her that, or she'll just taunt him until the day she dies. Oh wait, she'll do that anyway. "Did you just give me a compliment? I'm shocked."
