Kayos is in his war room looking at a large map of Kyami which lays on the table before him. He is the emperor or the Kelosh empire. He is a monster of man, it is debatable weather he is demon or vampire. All he'll tell any one is he is in fact undead. He has no heart and no blood courses through his system. He isn't that tall for such a god-like warlord. He stands at 6'3" which seems pretty average in most parts of Ayenee. His hair is jet black at the roots and sharply turns to crimson red. It is very long in the back. His eyes are as blood red as his hair and the talons that tip his fingers and toes. He doesn't wear shoes, for his feet aren't really made like that of humans.

He wears white armor on his shoulders and his torso, but nowhere else. He has on white pants which are held up by a red sash used as a belt. This is his normal manner of dress. He's not one for fancy clothing or bodily decorations.

He now is working on an attack plan for the kingdom of Hana'Var. It is on the south west coast of Kyami and is always on the brink of civil war. The kingdom is home to a clan of vampires called Jar'Ha and a family of hunters called Croxx. Both are lead by Barons of Hana'Var.

The Jar'Ha have recently insulted Kayos. They came to his capital city and took one of his high ranking people. It's not the first time they've done something like that, but the last time they just took a Croxx girl. Now he thinks he should have listened to Nick when the boy suggested they invade Hana'Var after that first attack. Kayos had thought that Nick only wanted to strike back at the Jar'Ha for taking his little friend. Kayos wants to strike back to keep his honor. He can't let this slide. He has to make examples of the Jar'Ha before anyone else thinks they can get away with something of the like as well.

Kayos' thoughts are interrupted by someone entering his war room. He looks up and quirks an eyebrow at the messenger. The messenger pauses before suddenly blurting out what he was there to say. Kayos isn't known for patience, and his mood is often unstable. No one can ever guess how he will react to anything. "Sire, Siren Springs was attacked by forces from Spyder Forest. There was great damage to the city. They managed to push the attackers back when daylight came."

Kayos sighs and looks to the spot on the map now being discussed. Siren Springs is a city on the edge of Korali. He took that kingdom just a few years ago. He was going to take all of Kyami, but political issues kept him from doing so. His empire is great, but empires often fall. Kayos is powerful, but a great deal of his power as a leader comes from knowing how to play the cards right.

"Send my spider eaters to Siren Springs" As he talks he moves the little figures of spider eaters from the castle in the center of Korali to Siren Springs. He had been thinking to use them to cross Spyder Forest to attack Hana'Var. "Tell them not to attack Spyder Forest. I want a full report."

The messenger doesn't move at first. Kayos looks up at him with a slight glare in his red eyes to get the messenger moving. He knew that if the man had known more, he'd have been told more. He wants to know the numbers, the costs, and all that good stuff. Kyami is across an ocean from him right now, but he doesn't think it'll take long for the report to get back to him.

Kayos walks over to a desk and begins to write a letter. It's not one he'd typically write himself, but the Jar'Ha took his Overseer, and it's the Overseer's job. He will be busy with Spyder Forest and dealing with the ruler of that place, his good friend Dacklyn. He will have to send aide to Hana'Var to help the Croxx deal with the Jar'Ha, but can't go himself with a large army. He'd met the Croxx girl before. She seemed nice enough, even though it was clear she wanted to kill Kayos.

The letter is short and to the point, but then that's how Kayos works most the time. He was going to send griffons across Spyder Forest and into Hana'Var, but now the griffons are needed to defend their own homeland. He also thought about sending his own vampire clan, which is lead by his sister. He will keep that card up his sleeve for later play.

Kayos rolls the letter and seals it with the symbol of the Kelosh empire, a black crescent moon. He then steps into the hall to hand the scroll to an Amazon standing there. "Give this to the captain of the ship taking group A to Hana'Var. Instruct him to give the letter to Baron Croxx, and that he should head for the port at Castillo del Croxx."

The Amazon looks a little surprised. She had thought they were sending a larger army straight into the Jar'Ha lands. "What of the other groups?"

"Send B to Korali, tell the others to stand down. They aren't going anywhere." Kayos turns and heads back into his war room. He has taken his turn, so to speak and now must wait to see what Dacklyn and the Croxx will do. He care nothing of the Jar'Ha and thinks it's only a mater of time before they fall. The only real question there is if the rest of Hana'Var will fall with them.
