Chat room: AmKelosh
Time: later afternoon
Location: AmKelosh hospital, Nick Corwin's room.
Lark Sandstone ~she knees to the side of the bed, her lips parting a bit as she sings, slowly she stops and lets Keladon go on. what did she need to find out. Nick really hates her...great she knew that already... she leaned back on her knees and waited, watching this stranger with Nick, hoping it worked and then wishing....
Keladon smiles to Lark upon her stopping. He'll let her do her thing after he's gone. He doubts that removing the metal will wake up Corwin anyway. After the metal is gone it becomes a medical problem, not a magical one. He takes a deep breath and clears his mind to the task at hand. He then starts to concentrate on the magical energies. The room seems to dim and take on a purple light.
Lark Sandstone says, ` she waits to see what happened here now... her hands curled under her chin as she lends up on her right knee watching Keladon work
Keladon begins to read the words from the book before him. He makes it sound and look easy, but it is far from it. If he puts the accent on the wrong syllable on just one word, or slurs just one letter, then the whole spell can go stray. If that happens, then there's no telling what will happen.
Lark Sandstone says, ` sat there , watching wondering if this was safe, she did not need a magical accident to affect her like Petter's. She leaned up closer to the edge of the bed, her hand resting against the sheets that was at Nick's side, she frowned a bit... her thoughts not what they usually were...she frowned and bowed her head, thinking ...`get this over with~
Keladon says, "ioaale. soleSeno EalkNO Aelmsi Aelthse. Telalie lseoEl tthse.U" Keladon stands as he reads and seems to get lost in the spell. He is concentrating so hard that a hurricane could strike right now and he'd never know it. He won't know anything about what's going on around him until the spell is done. The energy in the room begins to swirl, first clockwise, and then counterclockwise. It beings to pick up speed. Keladon has rewritten the spell to recognize Nick's shadow abilities apart from that of the armor's psionic abilities. The magic is now identifying those two things. If one could see inside Nick's head, Keladon is sure the metal would be glowing purple. Purple is the sacred color of Mekehlee. "Ale.si U almelaA slmESn owaluOm althe:n Ow"
Lark Sandstone says, ~looking to Keladon, she tilted her head, he was indeed a rather fine looking man. she smirked and turned her gaze to the ground she was tired, perhaps these things she was planning could wait until tomorrow. She hand held her head up
Keladon says, "EowlamO alemaa Emoslen islenAm wmosEl" Keladon closes the book with his left hand and holds it there while reaching out toward Nick with his right. The palm of his right hand is facing up as if expecting to receive something. Magical energies show themselves around Nick's head in the form of purple light and mist. The mist starts to collect and then moves toward Keladon's hand. Then all of the sudden -like the dropping of a bomb- the spell ends. The light turns back to normal, and the mist seems to rush back into Nick's head. Keladon blinks having realized the spell ended, but thinks it was a little too abruptly. He glances around, seeing that Nick is still alive and the monitors haven't noticed anything at all. He then looks at his empty hand.
Lark Sandstone says, her eyes darted up towards Keladon, a questioning look upon her face... her lips afraid to part..."did it work?"
Lark says, ~ she thought Nick would move or something would be different in his form or a sign that something worked....
Keladon changes the position of his right hand from holding it palm up -empty- to palm down. He steps closer to Nick and lowers his hand until it is right above Nick's forehead, but without touching. He smiles and looks a little relieved. "The two are separate once again."
Lark Sandstone says, ~ releases a sigh of relief then gets to her feet. "great now what." she dusts her leathers off and turned to face Keladon... her amethyst eyes bright with the fact that something was done today. She got more out of Keladon then she knew she would get from Relaun.
Keladon looks up at Lark and for the first time realizes her eyes are purple. He can't help but wonder if Mekehlee marked her and maybe she doesn't know it. He always thinks that when he sees purple eyes, but when asked, Mekehlee will only laugh and change the subject, or grin like she's up to something. "Now it's in the doctor and healers hands. But that should have saved him. All we do is wait and see if he wakes up."
