The Invitation

Zachariah_Justus is in the Tower again, where else would he be. He works here. He's looking over some of the old books of the Talon Knights, "No wonder the people are scared of their Constable."

� angelicia_Croxx enters the tower her eyes bright her mind at ease........a slight bob to her step

Zachariah_Justus looks up from the books. He is sitting on a desk, that's right on it, not behind it. He closes the book and sets it aside with a warm smile to his friend. He notices the change in her mood and is happy for it.

� angelicia_Croxx says, good day Justus....

Zachariah_Justus says, it has been so far.

� angelicia_Croxx says, oh....why is that? ~has avoided him this far, and the topic of the other day...~

Zachariah_Justus says, nothing bad has happened to call it a bad day." He smiles and winks as he shrugs his shoulders.

� angelicia_Croxx says, "I see." She busies herself with something left behind for her on a desk beside his.

Zachariah_Justus looks over at the other desk and quirks an eyebrow at her, "What are you doing? I hope you're not still using my men to do your work?"

� angelicia_Croxx tilts her head and frowns...a low curse under her breath. Slams the papers against her thigh....pushing off the desk she frowns "your men?"

Zachariah_Justus has that worried look come back across his features at her actions, afraid something is wrong. "My men, the Talon Knights."

� angelicia_Croxx says, I thought I could use them....since your a friend....and so nice and polite and not to mention generous. ~smiles at him trying to butter him up.~

Zachariah_Justus says, you're playing dirty. You know all you have to do is ask and I'll help you.

� angelicia_Croxx frowns...."fine.....I just didn't want you to be away from sakura....you know long nights working.....~lowers her eyes then raises them...~ "alone with me."

Zachariah_Justus says, I was here all night last night.

� angelicia_Croxx says, yes but I was not I know she will not like it....

Zachariah_Justus says, That I was here last night or if I help you? She's used to me being out all night, I'm a vamp hunter.

� angelicia_Croxx steps towards him and leans on the desk "I meant me"

Zachariah_Justus says, I was robbed last night.

� angelicia_Croxx says, I know she had to have read that stupid story ... what?

Zachariah_Justus says, I think she was testing me. I already knew she was a thief. Constable Shikara told me. She took my armored ring.

� angelicia_Croxx says, who did

Zachariah_Justus says, she came on to me too and told me I was cute when I blushed. She might be a handful and I'd like you to watch my back for me. Her name is Sylvia Sugastone.

� angelicia_Croxx says, oh ...I see. very well

Zachariah_Justus says, she's just a human thief and not the vamps we're used to fighting. But I think that might be my problem. I'm not used to fighting other humans.

� angelicia_Croxx looks down at the papers and frowns...turning one after the other....she pauses in thought..."Justus can I ask a favor...."

Zachariah_Justus says, sure, after all I just did.

� angelicia_Croxx says, here read this. She hands him what looks to be an invitation to something. She looks at him.

Zachariah_Justus takes it from her looking at her for a sign to tell him if he should be worried or not in her face. He then looks down and reads what she handed him.

� angelicia_Croxx says, like I told you yesterday....my parents feel the need for some luscious ball....for to find suitor for their poor pathetic daughter. And well, I would not have to worry so.....if.......well......~ looks at him as if to tell him what her favor is.~

Zachariah_Justus says, I'm invited?

� angelicia_Croxx says, well yes

Zachariah_Justus looks up again confused.

Zachariah_Justus says, I figured your parents would want some stuffy nobleman for you. Oh wait I see what this is. You want me to go watch your back? Keep the wolves at bay so to speak?

� angelicia_Croxx says, as my.....well date ~waves her hands in protest to what his thoughts jump to...."no no....just to help me out

Zachariah_Justus says, No problem, I can do this for you. I'm sure Sakura will understand when we explain it to her.

� angelicia_Croxx says, we? no no, you. I don't want her cross with me more then she is. Okay well then shall I pick you up or shall we travel together... its far to the southeast

Zachariah_Justus nods and doesn't think she -Sakura- would understand anyway. She got really jealous when she found out that he once slept in Brier's castle. "I'll tell her I went on a vamp hunt."

� angelicia_Croxx says, "lying to her Justus that does not sound like you. trouble in paradise?" She smirks. "that is why I stay away from men"

Zachariah_Justus says, You just told me you didn't want me to tell her the truth, and now you're getting mad at me for making something up?

� angelicia_Croxx says, what I said you tell her not me that was all

Zachariah_Justus looks a little confused and thinks this might be why he hasn't bothered getting a girlfriend in so long, Oh wait that was a heartache he barely got over that did that.

� angelicia_Croxx says, oh just forget it I can find someone else to do it, perhaps matt will

Zachariah_Justus says, Well I'd rather tell her the truth, myself.

� angelicia_Croxx says, like I said I can ask someone else

Zachariah_Justus says, Matt will try to get your parents to pick him and romance you at the same time. You know how he is.

� angelicia_Croxx says, "really?" Her eyes perk up...."perhaps I could let him...." ~taps her lips~

Zachariah_Justus shrugs, "If you like that sort of guy, but you might have to fight for him."

� angelicia_Croxx says, fight

Zachariah_Justus says, the rest of the women population of Serenity.

� angelicia_Croxx pouts that the lack of men about this place

Zachariah_Justus laughs lightly, always being amused at Matt's womanizing.

� angelicia_Croxx says, perhaps I could turn the tables on some poor man....use him and toss him aside much like what matt does

Zachariah_Justus says, Besides you want someone that you trust to go right? That won't try and turn themselves into your suitor. I don't know many others that would do that for you, but I will.

� angelicia_Croxx says, I guess. well then speak to sakura....~sighs leaning against the desk, folding her arms before herself

Zachariah_Justus nods. "Alright. I'm sure she won't mind too much. She knows by now that she has nothing to fear from you. She just thinks women want me like they want Matt for some reason.

� angelicia_Croxx laughs, almost toppling over. "Justus your too much." She pushes off the desk, smirks as she looks to a few cute guard in the back room

Zachariah_Justus looks at Angel slightly confused. "I don't find it funny."

� angelicia_Croxx says, I do. you a womanizer...too much....your a one woman guy and your faithful....sakura is lucky to have you

Zachariah_Justus says, Oh I don't think it's that she doesn't trust me with other women. She knows I'm loyal. She just doesn't seem to trust them with me. I try to tell her she's the only one that finds me attractive, but she's too blinded by love to see that.

� angelicia_Croxx says, you sound like your just with her because she loves you

Zachariah_Justus shrugs a bit having just gotten into the habit of doubting himself in that area, "She does love me."

� angelicia_Croxx looks back towards the back room again, she chuckles as she sees the pair of guys watching her now.... "and you....."

Zachariah_Justus says, what about me?

� angelicia_Croxx waits for him to tell her he loves sakura with all that he is and all that he will be "love her?"

Zachariah_Justus says, I'm not sure yet, to tell the truth.

� angelicia_Croxx laughs....pushing off the desk...., "oh shoot I got to run." She grabs her things and waves to the guys in back

Zachariah_Justus starts to wave back and then realizes she's not waving at him. He looks back at his men with a raised eyebrow and they stop waving at Angel, they don't stop smiling though.

� angelicia_Croxx says, "bye Justus get back to me soon though. I have to leave within the day" She turns and runs out

Zachariah_Justus says, "alright" He watches Angel go and shakes his head lightly "She sure has a Cinderella complex. . always running off suddenly."
