Trouble at School

Zachariah_Justus says, yes, well there was a murder at the Shikara castle and a kidnapping at the DarkCresent castle. And they told me this city was slow on crime. Remind me not to listen to that damn bard of a constable again. .

Zachariah_Justus smiles with a hint of playfulness in his eyes, to show he is only joking. He prefers there to be stuff to do, crimes to stop, and criminals to catch.

sakura_the_wanderer says, "I see." She breathes deeply, tired from the walk to the cafe. Water drips from her hair as she sits at the table, her face is wet

Zachariah_Justus says, want something to eat? Something warm to drink perhaps?

sakura_the_wanderer says, ..no thank you m'love, I'm fine.

Zachariah_Justus looks at Sakura's wet face and clothes with concern

sakura_the_wanderer also notes her books are wet

Zachariah_Justus looks over at her books and clears off a space on the table for them, the table is covered in his paper work.

sakura_the_wanderer looks at some of the paper she has ruined with her books

sakura_the_wanderer says, .... I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to....

Zachariah_Justus says, "that's okay. Copies are kept of most of these." He smiles sweetly and wouldn't want her to feel bad about anything.

sakura_the_wanderer nods slowly. She rubs her leg absently, soothing a dull pain. She winces when she touches just above her knee-cap

Zachariah_Justus says, are you alright? need me to fetch a healer?

sakura_the_wanderer says, "nae m'love.. I'm okay..." She clenches her eyes

Zachariah_Justus says, are you sure?

sakura_the_wanderer shakes her head

Zachariah_Justus looks at her in great concern

sakura_the_wanderer says, it really hurts...

Zachariah_Justus pulls a small vial out of his pouch and hands it to her, "Here this is a faerie potion, drink it. It'll help. I'll go find a healer."

sakura_the_wanderer nods slowly, embarrassed now as she takes the vial, and sips from it. She has many cuts on her back, and bruises on her legs and back

Zachariah_Justus runs out and comes back a few minutes later with a healer in tow. They move back into the cafe and as the healer stops to brush the water off herself, Justin pushes her forward not wanting Sakura's pain to be prolonged any. As the frowning healer looks over Sakura, he does the same thing, "What happened Little Cherry Blossom?"

sakura_the_wanderer says, "..oh. .I um... I fell in a puddle...." She lies

Zachariah_Justus says, well that would explain the water. . how did you fall?

sakura_the_wanderer says, I. . I um... tripped... on a rock.....

Zachariah_Justus watches the healer as she goes about her healing stuff, calling her power and using it. He casts a funny glance at Sakura, something just doesn't seem right about her story. "how big was the rock?"

sakura_the_wanderer says, ..big enough to trip on I suppose.. I didn't see it, only hit it.

Zachariah_Justus says, you sure it was a rock? I don't need to go bust anybody's head?

sakura_the_wanderer says, I'm sure m'love.. I swear it..

sakura_the_wanderer lies still

Zachariah_Justus still looks skeptical as the healer goes about her work. Normally to tell if somebody's not telling the truth he listens for their quickened heart and looks for signs of sweating. But she's wet so he can't see her sweat and her heart normally speeds up around him. He decides not to push it and takes the answer she gives.

sakura_the_wanderer phews deeply, watching your reaction to her story, not aware that this gives her away

Zachariah_Justus says, "Where was it you fell?" He asks thinking he'll talk to witnesses later.

sakura_the_wanderer says, ".....oh.. I fell near the river... actually, into the river..." Notes that was the truth

Zachariah_Justus raises an eyebrow and thinks maybe a little bit more questioning won't hurt. "Did anybody see you fall?"

sakura_the_wanderer shakes her head

sakura_the_wanderer says, ....I. . I hope not..

Zachariah_Justus moves out of the way as the finished healer does her job and stands to wait payment. Justin pays her and then she leaves. "And you're sure you tripped?"

sakura_the_wanderer nods shakingly

Zachariah_Justus says, on a rock?

sakura_the_wanderer nods again, still shaking

Zachariah_Justus says, I think we need to get home and get you into some dry clothes.

sakura_the_wanderer nods slowly

Zachariah_Justus extends a hand down to her to help her up. "You going to tell me what really happened?"

sakura_the_wanderer sighs, not liking having been caught

sakura_the_wanderer says, .....at home....

Zachariah_Justus smiles and helps her up, "My men will see that the books get home, just leave them here for now" As he says this a man in a red cloak and the uniform of a Talon Knight steps up to do just that as well as gather Justin's papers.

Zachariah_Justus smiles at the guard's actions but is looking at Sakura. He's never had 'men' before, well not since he's left home. Feels kinda good to be in charge, it's what he was bred for after all. He leads Sakura to a taxi which will take them home. Sitting in the taxi next to her as the horse pulls it down the stone streets he looks to her, "You know we really need to get our own horses, and maybe a carriage for you."

sakura_the_wanderer nods slowly, suddenly not in the mood for laughter

Zachariah_Justus "Is something wrong?"

sakura_the_wanderer doesn't answer, watching her legs

Zachariah_Justus frowns as the stopping of the taxi carriage interrupts the conversation. "Come on Cherry Blossom, we can talk about it inside after you've dried off" He climbs out and turns to extend a hand to help her out as well.

Zachariah_Justus stops to pay the cab driver and then leads Sakura into the house as the taxi rides off. He opens the door for her and closes it behind them. "We'll talk after you've changed."

sakura_the_wanderer moves up to her room, and changes into her night shirt, she then goes to the living room, and sits before the fire

sakura_the_wanderer says, .....I was beat up.....

Zachariah_Justus feels a pulse of rage rush through him and forces himself to calm down, "by who?"

sakura_the_wanderer is embarrassed

sakura_the_wanderer says, .....j. . just people...

Zachariah_Justus says, tell me who. I am the Captain of the Talon Knights now, they can't get away with hurting you.

sakura_the_wanderer says, .....I...it was 2 girls....class mates.

Zachariah_Justus stops and is a bit stunned. Had pictured himself busting in the heads and ripping out the hearts of at least two burly men. . it image isn't as fun to picture with girls.

sakura_the_wanderer says, th. . then they threw me off the bridge....

Zachariah_Justus says, well that's is a crime, and you need to tell me their names so I can have them arrested.

sakura_the_wanderer says, I don't know they're names.

Zachariah_Justus says, what school do you go to? What do they look like?

sakura_the_wanderer says, ..they were from the magic school.

Zachariah_Justus says, but you don't know their names? Well .. what races where they? Did they look human?

sakura_the_wanderer says, I.. I don't know.... I shut my eyes.. I'm sorry.

Zachariah_Justus says, that's alright, Little Cherry Blossom. You're tried right now and have been through an ordeal. Why don't you just take it easy?

sakura_the_wanderer says, ...okay

Zachariah_Justus moves to sit next to her and wraps his arm around her

sakura_the_wanderer snuggles against you

Zachariah_Justus says, "It's alright now, you're safe with me." He holds her tight as he watches the flames of the fire dancing around in their frantic rage. "Maybe I should hire you a bodyguard? I wish I could be with you every second, but I just can't. . ."
