Kayos enters the royal castle with some of his best people at his side, minus Wraith Shikara who is still sorting out the affects created by taking over his family castle last night. And Gwyndolyn Wymanne, who Kayos has had in his pocket for a long time. With two powerful barons behind him, there will be nobody to oppose his plans, that third Baron shouldn't be that dumb.
Kayos walks up to the king and finds him alone, wasn't hard since there were already so many Dark Crescent members undercover in the castle including the Captain of the Royal Guard. They lead King Reddrick to a desk and show him some papers, he seems reluctent to sign at first so Zelda casts a little charm spell, similar to the one cast on Connie, but only temporary. They don't plan on letting Reddrick live much longer anyway.
Reddrick signs the papers, naming Kayos as his hier in the case that he dies before his son is human again, and also signing over Joshy to Kayos making the warlord leagal guardian, meaning Joshy is now his hier. Kayos lets out a light laugh as the papers are signed and then nods to Nick who promptly slices the king in two with his gunblade. Zelda claps her hands in delight and the sounds of dying can be heard as elswhere in the castle Connie help Rhandi take out all those too loyal to the old king. Kayos only thinks it is a shame that Drake couldn't be here as well, but he got a fair trade in Nick and Wraith. All is well and going acording to plan. . now to find Queen Karandora and see about an alliance, only Lord Wraith has already warned him all about the queen. Kayos walks out of the room leaving the papers with Zelda who is so overjoyed that she throws her arms around Nick in a hug, the assassin just looks at her funny and Kayos smiles, though his back is to them by that time and they don't see it.
