"FRIENDS & FAMILY"
An Interview with Judy Wyland

Shellies life long dream has been to be a Country Music Star, & as we see it she is well on her way. From the time she was old enough to talk, she was putting on Grand Ol' Opry shows for her friends and family. She would use anything as a stage; coffee tables, front porches, chairs or tables, she didnt care, as long as she could get someone to listen to her sing.
Shellie's favorite story that her grandma (Hope Martin - pictured with Katie Martinez & Adam) likes to tell is when she was about 3 years old. She took her to the New Mexico State Fair to see Charlie Pride in concert. When he started to sing "Kiss an Angel Good Morning" Shellie jumped out of her seat & was singing every word with Charlie as loud as she could. Some people didnt appreciate it, but her grandma did & since then she has always been one of Shellies biggest fans. Shellie can't thank her enough for all of the love & generosity she has shown her in her lifetime.Shellie's father Danny (Bud), Patricia (Pat) and her two brothers, Robert (Bub) and Joshua (Dosey Doo) all live in a small town just outside of Reno, Nevada. Bud has been a miner since he was 18 years old and anyone who has ever worked with him will tell you he's one of the best in the business. Her grandfather (Arlie Welden Martin - pictured above) was just as big a fan. Shellie and the Thomas' (good friends of the family) used to sing for him. His favorite song was "How Great Thou Art". Shellie can still see him sitting in his chair tapping his foot, clapping his hands with huge tears running down his cheeks. He has since passed away & Shellie would like to dedicate this web page to him as she loved him dearly and hopes that she will be able to keep her promise to him that one day she will make the Martin name famous. If there is one thing that Shellie is proud of in her life, that would have to be her family.
Shellie is proud to say that Pat is her best friend, and she thanks God everyday for blessing her with such loving parents who are both 100% supportive of her in everything she has chosen to do in her life.
