Tom Landry lost his battle with cancer on February 12, 2000. Football fans and especially Dallas Cowboys fans, lost a true hero; a man who inspired a generation of Americans with quiet dignity and impeccable taste. A man whose moral character was beyond reproach, and who demanded no less than the absolute best from all who surrounded him. Without a doubt, Coach Landry is the greatest Cowboy who ever lived....
