and spirituality that has seen her family through many difficult times. Talented with a
needle and in the kitchen, Cora has often kept her family well fed and clothed on a meager
budget when necessary. She is well read and had dreamed at one time to become a teacher,
but instead married Calder and devoted her life to him and their children. Helping her
eldest daughter Everley to earn her teaching certificate was a dream of sorts for her as
well and now she has devoted herself to finding new ways to earn money with her talents in
hopes of sending Bryden to veterinary school. Although
she believes that her husband is wrong for holding to the grudge he carries against Vin,
she will not go against him. She does however correct him on occasion for allowing his
