Bernard's Intro

Vincent came over to the USA from France after the death of his parents.

After arriving out west he met up with Joseph. They traveled together for a while. Joseph introduced him to Mahla. It was love at first sight. Joseph helped them run off and get married. After the birth of their daughter Veronique, Vin and Mahla went back to her people. Her parents disowned her and her child. They then returned to their ranch just outside 3 Crossings.

They got the ranch going with the help of Victor and Gloria Hamilton, Wade Williams, a young orphan that Vin and his wife took in like a son, and Joseph and his young son David, who Mahla watched. Veronique, or Angel as her father called her, was 4 years-old when Mahla gave birth to a son, Andre. She lived long enough to name him.

With the help of Gloria, Vin raised his children. Wade took to Vin's children and Gloria's daughter, Victoria, like an older brother. With the guidance of Vin and Victor, Wade worked his way to third in the chain of command of the hired hands behind Victor and Vin.

Veronique and Victoria grew up as sisters, Veronique, Wade, and Andre were all as devastated as Victoria when Gloria, who they all called Ma, died giving birth to Allen Vincent. After the death of Victoria'sParents, Vin took her and her brother in like they were his own children. Andre loved the idea of a having a baby brother.
