Walking into the PEG, Walter greeted Jacy. She gave him a quick hello and then went back to putting pen to paper. Seeing that she was engrossed in writing something, Walter stood behind her and looked over her shoulder. She was working on an article about the bank robbers that Teaspoon had held up over at the jailhouse. She stopped writing to think a minute, and then it came to her. She wrote a few more sentences, and then happy as a lark she set the pen down and admired her writing.

Walter was about to say that he wasn't so sure that was exactly what happened, but then he changed his mind. This was the first time that he had ever seen Jacy excited about writing an article. Walter cleared his throat to get Jacy's attention.

"Oh, did you need something?" She asked.

"I wanted to let you know that I would be providing the second place prize for the rodeo winners."

"What would that be?"

"Free supper at the hotel." Walter watched as she nodded her head.

Seeing that Walter expected her to say something, she said, "That sounds good. Ummm . . . but don't you think it will be better if you have it two free suppers at the hotel. No one likes to dine alone."

"Alright, it's two free suppers for second place winners then. I thought you might put it in the paper, so that everybody would know about it."

"That's a good idea, too. I'll see if I can squeeze it in the next issue. I think I have room for it."

"Thanks, Jacy, well I better get back to work. Have a good day." .

"You too," she smiled at Walter and then turned back to look at her remarkable article, so Walter left.
