ARRIVING HOME

FEBRUARY 14, 1860

Tyson, Kimberly and Lara stumbled out onto the street amidst laughter and lively chatter,

"Well ladies, I dont think I could have had a better night myself, especially dancing with such beauty and grace" Tyson said as they walked past the different stores.

Kimberly laughed, "The beauty part we can accept, but I dont think either of us will be winning prizes for gracefulness"

"Actually, I think a cowboy who has just sat on a cacti is more graceful than the two of us put together," Lara offered.

Tyson grinned "I'm going to have to agree with you there, I mean, if it wasnt for me adding a bit of class to what you two call dancing, you would probably have been thrown out for disturbing the peace." Tyson quickened his pace.

"What! Oooh, you little . . .," Kimberly easily caught up with him and grabbed him around the shoulders.

Tyson laughed "Hey now, that's not very ladylike you know"

Kimberly strengthened her grip so he couldnt move his upper body "Like I care, what are we going to do with him Lara?"

Lara came up beside her and went for his feet, "I don't know, maybe he'd like to take a refreshing dip in that horse trough over there."

"Now that would not be nice at all, but then such graceful things like the water you know, theres nothing more graceful than a swan." Kim said.

"No, hey girls, you put me down. I take it back. I'm sorry. I'm the clumsiest of you all," his last words were mumbled by the bubbles in the water.

Kimberly shook the water from her hands, "Well now, Lara, I couldnt have imagined a better ending to a wonderful night," she laughed as a now humble Tyson tried to climb out of the trough.

Lara grinned "I couldnt agree more," she said as she hooked arms with Kimberly and they walked back to the saloon in fits of giggles.

Tyson grinned to himself, shook his head and was soon following behind them.
