AT THE VALENTINE'S DANCE! FEBRUARY 14, 1860 |
| Teaspoon helped Dev into the buggy and rode to town while discussing the
night's events. They both agreed that they had lots of fun especially when they were
square dancing. As they pulled into town Teaspoon stopped the buggy near the stagecoach.
Him and Dev descended from the buggy with Teaspoon helping Dev down. They walked over to
the stagecoach and Teaspoon said, "I had a good evening, Dev." "So did I Teaspoon." Dev replied. "Maybe we can do it again some time." Teaspoon suggested. "I would like that." Dev answered. Teaspoon kissed her on the cheek and then said, "Well, I better get this rig back to the stables. Goodnight Dev." Teaspoon climbed aboard the buggy and yelled, "Giddyaup!" The horses started pulling the buggy on down the street. Dev watched as Teaspoon pulled up outside of the stables and unhitched the horse and took him inside the livery. Dev then climbed aboard her stagecoach and took off for home. |
