INTRODUCING TALLY!

Tallyhoe had received a letter that wasn’t a good report at all. He thought by now he would have had half the town citizens leaving. Tally was very impatient. When he wanted something, he wanted it now.

He should have known better than to leave it to somebody else to accomplish something for him. If you want something done right, you do it yourself. And that’s what he intended to do.

After finding out that Dev knew some of the citizens in Dreamville, he asked her if he could ride up front with her. She agreed. He learned a lot about the town, and who was who in town. Although Dev couldn’t tell him much about the person who he really wanted to know about, but that was ok. He really didn’t need to know anything to destroy someone’s life. Besides he would blend in and then strike.

After the last waystation before hitting Dreamville, Tally rode on the inside of the stagecoach. As he saw a farmhouse not too far off, he made a quick decision and hollered to Dev to stop. She asked him what was up and he told her that he wanted off here.

Startled she said, "Here!" He nodded his head and grabbed his bag from the top of the coach. As he took off for the farmhouse Dev started the horses again, and her and her passengers rode on out of sight.

A few days later Tally rode into Dreamville. He stabled his horse at the livery, and then went to the hotel to check in. He saw the PEG lying on the counter, and he picked it up. Edward said, "If you want to read it, you have to pay for it." Tally frowned at him as he tossed a coin onto the counter. Tally asked for a room and Edward handed him a key. Tally took his paper and bag to his room. He had decided to get himself settled in, and then start making his moves.
