Steven had asked Prudence to the picnic. He remembered what a nice time he had at the dance with her. He was pleased that she agreed to go.

They enjoyed talking about raising children by themselves. They noticed Eddie and waved to him as they walked over to where the races and games were being held.

They paired up for the three-legged race. Steven participated in the horse race. They also joined the sack race and horseshoe game. They laughed and had a wonderful time.

At the picnic Daniel enjoyed watching Serena helping the children with their games.

Daniel entered the horse race, wood chopping contest, and the horseshoe game.

Then he and Serena paired up for the three-legged race, and they took part in the sack race, too.

Daniel and Serena had the best time they have ever had since they moved to Dreamville. As the day went on they noticed Beauregard always keeping a watchful eye on Destiny. They didn�t know why he was, but they dismissed the thought and concentrated on the various activities of the picnic. Daniel had spotted Corey. He was glad she had made it. Daniel thought everyone seems to be having a good time.

Destiny was glad she had accepted Simon�s invitation to go to the picnic and the party with him. She was a little leery of going since her run in with Beauregard. She had hoped that he wouldn't find her.

They talked and laughed and she forgot all about her troubles. They enjoyed watching Jemima having a good time with her friends. They talked about raising children alone, and how much joy it was, too.

They entered all the races and games. Simon even entered the wood-chopping contest.

Noah was glad he had straightened everything out with Ivy. He was enjoying her company today.

They talked with everyone there. Noah noticed that Clover and CJ were there together. He knew that they were trying to make him jealous. He laughed to himself knowing it wasn't working.
