JUNE 22, 1860

Jesse had been very disappointed when Steven had chose Rose for his partner. He had been hoping that she would be his partner for the lessons. But then again that couldnt be because they were both students. Both of them only knowing a few calls from the Valentines square dance, so they had both decided to take the lessons. They hadnt realized that they wouldnt be able to be partners though. Oh well, Destiny was very nice. She helped direct him when he wasnt sure what he was suppose to be doing. The others were kind too, for none of them seemed to get mad when he messed up a call.

Jesse didnt care to much for the bowing part. He didnt mind the allemande left or the right and left grand, but the dosado was another thing. Every time he did it, he seemed to bump backs with Destiny which embarrassed him, but Destiny didnt make any big deal out of it after the first time he done it. The promenade was easy enough. But he would sometimes forget if he was a Head or Side. Lucky for him Destiny knew exactly which one they were.

Destiny smiled as she helped Jesse with the calls. She knew he was trying but the way he was glancing at Rose she knew he wished he was her partner. She tried to help him, so that when the next dance comes around him and Rose will do very well.

Richard was watching Kathleen so he stepped right on Jasmines toes. Looking at her he said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Guess I better watch you instead of her." Then he put on a silly grin.

Jasmine smiled and nodded saying, "Its okay. Lets try again." They went through the calls again and Richard got them right.

Daniel was worried about Serena, knowing she was with child, but he didn't mind helping Blythe out when she made a mistake.

Serena smiled every time she looked up and caught Daniel watching her. She knew he was worried and she was thankful he was. Gavin helped her when she got turned around on the left allemande call. She smiled sweetly at him and thank him for his help.
