APRIL 16, 1861

Sean and Destiny were standing next to Kathleen and Richard when their two girls came running up to them. "Mama! Can we ride on the train?" Jemima asked excitedly.

"Yeah, Da! Can we?" Brianna asked her father as Kathleen and Richard laughed at the girls as they jumped up and down in their excitement.

Destiny and Sean looked at each other and Sean said, "Not today, lasses. But maybe someday soon we can go for a short ride."

Simon and Samantha saw Jemima and Brianna from a distance and wished that they had some of that energy that the young girls had.
