Destiny and Sean were walking down the boardwalk when Jake passed them by, and Destiny had to introduce him to Sean. After Jake bid them good day, Destiny remarked, "I don't know what it is about that man. I don't trust him."

"Destiny you shouldn’t be so judgmental. Give him a chance."

Destiny and Sean ate lunch at the Silver Spoon, where Sean was able to meet some of the people that were not at the Valentine’s Dance. He met Jacy, Ted, Steven, and Ike. After lunch they walked down the street, and Sean was able to meet Jimmy and Lee. He knew that something was different about Lee although he couldn't put his finger on it.

Sean also was able to meet everyone else that had not been at the Valentine dance that day as he and Destiny started to get closer as friends. All of them seemed very nice. Although there was one individual who was very peculiar to Sean, it was the newspaper owner, Jacy. She seemed to be very fidgety when she was introduced to him, and she hurried off claiming that she had lots of work to do. He assumed on her newspaper.

While walking around town Sean told Destiny all about his late wife Mairi. Destiny didn't say anything about Jemima's father. Sean figured that she would talk about him when she was ready. They were both glad that they had this time to get to know each other while their daughters were at school.
