Samantha came into the PEG all cheerful like, and Jacy asked her why she was in such a good mood. She replied, "I’ve got a job. I’m working for Karen."

She’s the owner of Mustang Hill Ranch right?"

"Yeah. She wants me to break wild mustangs for her."

"Sounds like fun." Jacy’s eyebrows went up for she was being facetious.

"Well, not fun, but it will give me some more pocket money."

"I was kidding. It definitely wouldn’t be fun for me. I like riding but not falling."

"I stay in the saddle more than on the ground." Samantha grinned. "I came by to tell you that you don’t need to run my ad again, since I have a job now."

"I’m glad you finally got one, and one that you like. I was out at Karen’s place one day with Ike. He tried to help me pick out a horse, but I really didn’t see one I wanted. Karen said she would be getting more horses, so when I get the time I might check them out."

"I’ll let you know when Karen gets some new stock in."

As Samantha was about to leave, Jacy asked, "Would you and your brother like to come for supper one night?"

Samantha said, "We’d like that."

"Alright how about this Sunday?" Jacy walked Samantha to the door. Samantha readily agreed and Jacy was pleased.
