ARRIVING HOME

FEBRUARY 14, 1860

Richard helped Destiny into the wagon. As he climbed into the wagon Jemima came running over and said, "Momma, do we have to leave now?"

Destiny nodded and said, "Yes, sweety its time to go. Come on get into the wagon. Looking sad Jemima said, "Yes ma'm, come on Michael." Michael helped her into the wagon and climbed in after her.

They all chatted about what they did at the dance. As they pulled up in front of the boarding house they knew that this was a wonderful night. Michael and Richard helped the women down and Richard walked Destiny to the door, and said, "I had a wonderful time tonight. I hope you enjoyed yourself tonight?"

Smiling she replied, "Yes, I did have a good time. Thank you. Well, we better get in its late. Jemima its time to come in."

Jemima turned and said, "Okay momma, be right in."

Destiny nodded and said "Thanks again for taking me to the dance, Richard. I hope we can do it again soon."

Richard nodded and said, "I hope so too."

Destiny turned and went in. Richard walked back to the wagon. He took it to the stable to put it away and then he turned in for the night.
