Richard arrived at the waystation to join the others that were going early to help set up things for the picnic. He saw Noah and Lee sitting on the porch waiting on him. Simon rode up, and then the riders mounted up. They all headed for the school grounds

Lee, Simon, Richard and Noah arrived early at the picnic to help set up tables for the food. They were surprised that they were the only ones setting up tables, so it took them awhile.

Javier was pleased that Lilly had accepted his invitation to the picnic and to the engagement party for Meg and Luke.

Clover and CJ were going to the picnic together to make Jacy and Noah jealous although this plan wasn't working.

While at the picnic Javier and CJ participated in the horse race. Javier and Lilly paired up in the three-legged race, while CJ and Clover also paired up for the race.

They all participated in the sack race and the horseshoe game and had a fun time even though they didn�t win any of the contests. Clover, however, went home upset because Noah wasn�t getting jealous. CJ�s day hadn�t gone any better and after the tug of war where Jacy got mad at him, he didn�t feel like participating in anything else.
