Richard walked over to the barbershop. "Hi, Luke, Charlie. Did you hear? We're finally getting a church." He asked as he sat down on the bench next to the two men.

Luke looked up. "Yes, I did. I'm glad. Maybe someday we'll eventually get a priest, too."

"I didn't know you were Catholic, Luke." Richard replied

"Yes, but Meg, Daniel, Serena, the kids and I all go to Omaha where the nearest Catholic Church is."

Before Charlie could say anything, they heard pounding hoofbeats rushing through town. They all turned and saw Michael and Jesse ridding hard and fast.

"Jesse!" Charlie called.

Jesse turned at hearing his name being called. "Mr. Montgomery, there was an accident at the school. We need the Doctor. Jemima and Brianna have been hurt."

"I'll get Daniel. You go get their parents." Luke called back as he headed for his father's-in-law clinic.
