| Writing
Tips! |
- Most word processing programs have a spelling and grammar check system so please use
them.
- Don’t forget to put Commas and Periods in the right place. Commas and Periods go
before Quotation Marks.
- Quotation Marks only go around words that are actually being said, not around words
being thought.
- Don’t make your sentences very long. Drag on sentences can get confusing, break
them up into 2 or 3 sentences.
- Confusion in sentences can occur when you’re talking about 2 or more people in a
sentence and then you put him or her, she or he in there and you’re not sure which
person they are referring to, if both names are female or male. So Read the sentences a
couple of times and make sure you understand who you are talking about.
- If you get behind on your writing it might throw everybody out of whack, so please try
to keep up.
- Remember your scenarios don’t have to be long.
- Remember if it’s Major Action dealing with someone else’s Character then you
must converse with them to make sure it’s ok with them what you write.
- If the other person strongly disagrees with what you want to do then try compromising.
If compromising doesn’t work then maybe you need to change your decision and figure
something else out that will work for both of you.
- If you don’t want to relent or your having problems with that person then contact
and let the RPG master know what the problem is. I’ll listen to both sides and make a
fair decision. But remember the RPG Master’s decisions are Final.
- Remember were all here to have fun. Don’t get to wrapped up into the Game/Story
that you start getting mad at the other players. It’s not a life and death situation.
It’s a game. I’m sure everybody will cooroporate and make this a fun game, not a
war. Remember even trees bend in the wind! : )
- If you get stuck and you’re not sure what to write then send out a SOS. I’m
sure a lot of our players will help you out with suggestions.
SO PLAY CLEAN
LET’S HAVE FUN!
AND ABOVE ALL ELSE
LET’S END THE YEAR 2000
WITH ALL OF US
BEING FRIENDS! |

Inspector Gadget
By Scott Davis |
| For those unfamiliar with Inspector Gadget, he
is an ambitious security guard who gets transformed into a cross between Inspector
Clouseau (from the Pink Panther movies) and Steve Austin, the bionic man. The movie, a
live-action version of the cartoon, follows Inspector Gadget’s as he pursues Claw,
the evil villain of the movie. Matthew Broderick portrays
Inspector Gadget in a tongue in cheek manner, much like he does in all his movies. Still,
very few actors beside Broderick could play this role without appearing too silly. He is
just serious enough without taking the role too seriously.
Of course, Broderick the man takes backseat to the gadgets, and that
what makes the movie fun, especially for kids. While panned by most critics, this movie is
a semi-enjoyable way to waste 77 minutes. |

He invites me on a very late picnic. We eat and chat. I get
up and roam the meadow that is full of beautiful flowers. He picks one up and puts it in
my hair. I tickle him to lighten the mood and he starts tickling me back. I run off and
he chases me. He catches me and I look up into his dreamy blue eyes. Then I walk slowly
over to the lake with him by my side. I drag my hand in the water and we talk some more
about anything he wants to talk about.
Soon the sun sets and the moon rises. We walk back over to where are picnic blanket is.
He sits down and leans up against the tree. And I sit very close to him and lean my head
on his shoulder. He tells me a story while we gaze at the twinkling stars above. It is so
peaceful and I’m very content to listen to his voice all night if I can. |
