ARRIVING HOME

FEBRUARY 14, 1860

Noah helped Ivy into the buckboard and climbed in after her. Heading back to town Noah said, "Did you have a good time tonight?"

Ivy smiled and said, "Yes, I did have a good time tonight. Did you have a good time? Thank you for inviting me." Noah smiled and answered, "Yes, I did, thank you.

"You are welcome. There was no one I would have rather gone with." Ivy smiled.

As they pulled up to the restaurant Noah said, "I hope we can do this again sometime."

Ivy smiled as he helped her down and said, "I do, too." Noah walked her to the door. Noah kissed her hand and watched as she went inside. Then he climbed into the buckboard and headed back to the station.
