Noah had just walked out of the saloon when Caller Bob and Charlie approached him.

"Noah, I have a gift card for you. I do appreciate you doing this for the town." He handed Noah his card.

"Your welcome mayor. I don't mind. I feel honored that I�m able to help raise the money." Noah said as he took the card and read it. He looked up and smiled.

Charlie nodded saying, "Think you can handle running the place for a while?"

"Sure as long as I don't have to cook. I'm not a good cook. Think you can handle running the mail?"

"Sure it can't be that hard. It should be fun."

Caller Bob nodded and thanked both men. Then he walked down the street.

Clover stood in the shadows watching. She hoped this would help her get Noah away from Ivy.

"If you would like I'll take you to the station and show you around. Maybe help you get settled in." Noah offered.

"Thank you. That would be great. Just give me a minute to saddle a horse."

Noah nodded and smiled. While waiting on Charlie he thought of the time he could spend with Ivy since he would be in town.

He spotted Ivy and Started over towards her to talk while he waited on Charlie. But he was intercepted by Clover.

"Noah I saw you talking with the mayor. As you going to help raise money for the town fund?" Asked Clover.

Sighing as he watched Ivy disappear into the boarding house he replied without looking at her, "Yes . I am switching with Charlie for a while. to raise the money."

Clover smiled at him. "Maybe you would like to join me for super tonight?"

Still watching for Ivy to come out of the boarding house He said, "I don't know. I do have to work tonight. maybe on a break we can sit and have a cup of coffee."

Just then Charlie rode you. Noah excused himself and mounted Trouble and rode off with Charlie.

Clover stood there and watched him leave thinking, I hope I can pull this off. Ivy doesn't deserve him.

As they reached the station Charlie said, "Noah you okay? You're awful quite. did clover say something to upset you?"

"Oh no she didn't. Sorry I was thinking of Ivy. " Noah replied. Noah helped Charlie get settled and offered to buy him supper. but Charlie said, "Its on me." The two men rode back to town after Noah gathered his things.

As they sat in the Silver Spoon. talking and eating clover made hr way over to try and get Noah�s attention. but he ignored her. NO matter what she tried Noah ignored her. she knew she needed to come up with a new plan. This would be tougher then she thought.

After thanking Charlie for supper Noah made his was to Charlie's room at the boarding house. And Charlie went back to the waystation. Clover tried talking to Noah at he boarding house but he said he was tired and was going to bed. then went into Charlie's room shutting the door. Leaving a frustrated Clover standing in the hall.

Charlie took care of his horse and walked into the bunkhouse and found Noah's bunk and was glad he got this chance but he worried about his restaurant but knew Noah would take good care of it.
