APRIL 2 , 1861
Noah and Ivy pulled away form the station without seeing Clover. They headed for the swimming hole. As they reached the swimming hole, Noah helped Ivy down from the buckboard and grabbed the blanket and spread it out.
Ivy grabbed the basket and started setting out the food. "Noah are you going to enter any of the events?"
"I don't think so. I'm not that good, but I was hoping you would go with me and cheer the others on."
Ivy smiled, "I'd like that. Then I won't have to worry about Clover or you getting hurt." Giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, she handed him a plate full of food.
Taking the plate Noah smiles. "No need to worry about Clover, but I am glad you do."
They enjoyed the day without any interruptions from Clover. They talked about the rodeo and the wedding and discussing the money that Grace had found. They finally decided that it was from a bank robbery. They just weren't sure what town it was from.
