"I really do miss Corey." Meg said wistfully. She hadn't even realized that she had spoken out loud until Luke responded.

"Well, then why don't you apologize to her."

"I can't do that. That would be like admitting I was wrong. And I just don't think that she should be socializing with anyone from that place."

"Why not? It's not like Dean sells his body like the girls there do."

"No, but he protects them."

"Meg, what do you really have against them? You were not this mean to the people that worked in the ones in Boston. You were a lot more understanding."

"Well, the ones in Boston never chased after my husband." Meg said without thinking. It was only after she heard herself say it that she realized just how unfair she was being to everyone at the bordello, except for Elena. After all it was Elena that was chasing after Luke.

"So that's it!" Luke said with a smile. "You're jealous. Meghan, Darling, I promise you that Elena is not going to get what she wants. I love you, and I would never jeopardize that love for anything or anyone."

"Still, she shouldn't be with him. What if he tries to hurt her?"

"Meg, if Buck chooses to be with Caly, wont that hurt Corey?"

"Well, yeah."

"And you're not against her spending time with Buck."

"Well, no."

"So what's the difference?"

"I know that Buck won't hurt her like Simon hurt me and Caly."

"What makes you think that Dean will hurt Corey like that?"

"How do you know that he won't? We don't know him. And he works for women that do that for money. He could think that all women are like that."

"Well, then I suggest that we get to know him. And just because a man works in a bordello doesn't mean that he thinks less of respectable ladies like you and Corey." Luke smiled.

Meg just listened to her husband still mad at her best friend.
