JULY 2, 1860
One day White Wolf is in town when she sees Lou. "Hey Lou, can you deliver this letter to Teaspoon for me?"
Lou smiles and says, "I'll be happy to give him the letter."
"Thank you," White Wolf says.
Lou gets on Lightening and rides back to Dreamville. Lou walks into the sheriff�s office. "Teaspoon here�s a letter from White Wolf for ya."
Teaspoon takes the letter from Lou and opens it. He rubs his chin while he reads it.
"What�s it say, Teaspoon?" Lou inquires as he notices the thoughtful
expression on Teaspoon�s face.
So word for word Teaspoon reads it a loud.
"Dear Teaspoon,
I would like to come back
to Dreamville. I'm bored here.
I hope you will reply to this letter
as soon as you can. Thank you.
Signed White Wolf."
"So what ya going to do? You gonna let him come back?" Lou asked.
"Well, they don�t really need him at the other station anymore. They hired a few lads a couple of weeks ago, and Wilkins, the stationmaster, doesn�t really need him. Lou are you doing anything right now?" Teaspoon asks as he places the paper on his desk.
"Well, I just got in Teaspoon. I was going to grab something to eat, and then take a bath to get some of this dust off me." Lou glances up to see Teaspoon�s reaction.
"Ok son," Teaspoon stands up, "do you think you could ride back over to Broken Bow after you eat and tell White Wolf to pack his things and get back here on the double."
"Sure Teaspoon," Lou was glad that he wanted White Wolf back. She had thought that he might want her to go on another mail run that�s why she had been reluctant to tell him no that she didn�t have any plans right now. "I�ll grab a bite to eat at the hotel, and then ride over and get White Wolf."
"Thanks son." Teaspoon said as Lou walked out of the office.
