JANUARY 10, 1861

As soon as Lee had washed up and ate something she laid down. She had a rough ride and was looking forward to some sleep. As she hugged her pillow, she felt something had been place underneath it. It was an envelope. She sat up and opened it up. She smiled at the contents of the letter.

Dear Lee

Hi Lee, Meet me at Dead End Canyon at 8 p.m. Feb. 14th. Please don't tell anybody about us. Love, Cupid Caper

Oh Jimmy how romantic!!! I'll have to have Rachel wash my dress for this. Lee thought as she laid back down and thought of things to come. She knew why Jimmy had planned this, so that they could be alone. If the others knew that they were planning this, then they would get teased and would probably end up not doing it at all. She went to sleep and dreamed of her special night with Jimmy
